Wine route
Wine lovers will enjoy the wine route from Marlenheim to Kintzheim, through the beautiful landscape of vineyards and hills. The route goes through the pretty village of Scherwiller, medieval Dambach-la-Ville with its coloured half -timbered houses, Andlau and Mittelberheim with houses dating from the Renaissance period. Wine festivals and wine markets take place here annually.

Bas-Rhin is also very suitable for a winter sport holiday or mini break. And it has its own cuisine such as Baeckoffe made from marinated meat and potatoes, and of course Alcase style sauerkraut.
