The house
The Pigeonnier is a traditional regional outhouse, where pigeons were kept and grain was often stored below. Until the French Revolution, only the nobility was allowed to have a pigeonnier and it has therefore long remained a symbol of prestige.
We have converted the pigeonnier into a pleasant and comfortable gîte, while preserving its authenticity.
We have been affiliated with "Gite de France" for years and are therefore regularly checked for quality. Because the bookings go through Gites de France, the reviews are a bit old, but still applicable.
We live next door to the gite, but privacy is really guaranteed. There is a private entrance outside and the Pigeonnier is behind our house, where we do not come.
The kitchen is complete and well equipped.
There is a colour T.V. with USB and DVD (French and free satellite channels) A Bluetooth speaker.
There are two bedrooms, one upstairs (two single beds plus space for an extra mattress) and one downstairs (double bed 160X200, also here space for cot and / or mattress), all in all more than enough for 4 to 5 people.
There is a washing machine in the bathroom.
The terrace is equipped with furniture and barbecue.
From the terrace you have a discrete view of the fenced swimming pool, for your own private use.
(10 by 5 metres, 1m.40 deep).
The property is situated on a large terrain (1 ha) where you can also use the swing, sandpit, tree house and a sheltered table tennis table and table football.
Pets are also welcome.
Your bed is made up on arrival.
There is a WIFI-ADSL internet connection.
There is a railway station at 2 km (Lexos)

Reviews
Sabina De Bie from Nieuwegein,
❤️ Sabina, Martijn & Asmars
Mulder from Bunde,
Tanja Scherpenzeel from Almere,
