The house
This chalet is located high on the hillside of a small adult only domaine. The cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and has an open kitchen, toilet/shower, and a living/bedroom. The chalet is very light and has two sliding doors that give access to the private garden. It is suitable for two people who appreciate a quiet and beautifully situated stay. In the evening it is so dark that you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky. There is plenty of space around the house and plenty of shade from the surrounding trees. Also make use of the beautiful swimming pool, which is located behind the orchard. The swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September. Due to its location on the hill, the house is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Bringing a dog is allowed

Côte de Fumel' is located in a beautiful hilly landscape with beautifully situated villages, churches and country houses, which are often situated on high points. There are also numerous bastides, which are fortified towns built on strategically located hills at the end of the Middle Ages, such as Tournon, Roquecor, Montcuq and Beauville. We think the most beautiful bastides are Penne, Monflanquin and Lauzerte and Pujols. A visit to the abbey in Moissac, which is on the World Heritage List, is well worth it. The same goes for the aqueduct in Agen.
You can walk in many directions from 'Côte de Fumel': just like that, via marked routes or along randonnée 652. Cycling through the hilly landscape is more difficult, but for the real enthusiasts it is a challenge!
On the domain de Cote de Fumel there are 2 gîtes, each with a lot of privacy. In addition, on another part of the site, there is a small campsite with 6 pitches. The guests make use of the large swimming pool of 6x13 meters

Kleine maar zeer comfortabele en gezellige accommodatie met als grootste pluspunt het prachtige uitzicht en de privacy.
Het huisje is efficiënt ingericht, zeer netje afgewerkt en schoon. Het is voorzien van een goed bed, prima badkamer en keuken. Ook het terras buiten is voorzien van goed meubilair.Rien en Saskia zijn sympathiek, gastvrij en een goede gastheer en –vrouw. De 2-wekelijkse mogelijkheid van table d’hôtes zijn naast verrassend en lekker ook gezellig en een leuke manier om in contact te komen met andere gasten en eventueel tips en ervaringen uit te wisselen.
Cote de Fumel is gelegen in een prachtige natuur en rustige omgeving. Er is veel informatie beschikbaar over bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, diverse wandel- en fietsroutes voor verschillende afstanden.
Het zwembad met de mogelijkheid voor het nuttigen van kleine snacks, drankjes en ijsjes is fijn.
De dagelijkse broodservice draagt bij aan een comfortabel verblijf.Kortom: Een verblijf in Jardinerie is een aanrader. Wij hebben zeer genoten tijdens onze vakantieweek in augustus 2021.

Côte de Fumel' is exactly between the Cahors wine region in the east and the beginning of the Bordeaux wine region in the west. A visit to a few caves is worthwhile: Look, Taste, Compare.
Activities
Côte de Fumel is an excellent base for a wonderful walking and cycling holiday. Due to the hilly surroundings, you are always surprised with a different view. You are guaranteed to enjoy nature for hours. From Côte de Fumel you can walk and cycle in many directions (but tough), just on the spec, via marked routes that are available in plasticized form. One can also make day trips to the beautiful cities of Toulouse, Agen, Montauban or Cahors and to the well-known area of the Dordogne. And don't forget the beautiful boat trips you can take on the Lot or the Tarn.

Further remarks
The Domaine is only accesible for guests in the age of 16 and older. Besides peace and quiet on the Cote de Fumel you will find a swimming lake with many water sports activities 10 km away and 2 golf courses within a radius of 25 km. You can go canoeing and fishing in the River Lot and there are several walking routes directly from the Cote de Fumel . In addition to a large swimming pool on our 3 hectare site, you will also find a table tennis table, a jeu de boules court and various seating areas with a beautiful views.
