Savor the flavors of Tarn-et-Garonne at vibrant markets in towns like Lauzerte, Moissac, Montcuq, Valance de Agen, Montauban and Caussade, offering weekly markets of fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and more. The local town of Lauzerte has a well stocked supermarket.
There are exceptional wines in local vineyards, especially the renowned Coteaux du Quercy appellation.
Treat yourself to regional delicacies like duck confit, foie gras, truffles, and fresh fruits from the orchards in the many restaurants in Lauzerte or Moissac.

The surrounding region is steeped in stunning natural beauty, rich history, and delightful culinary traditions. Whether you’re a nature lover, history buff, or food enthusiast, there’s something for everyone in this enchanting corner of France. There are walks that take you to the pilgrimage route to Santiago, kayaking in the near by rivers, beautiful medieval hilltop villages, prehistoric caves or plentiful markets selling locally grown fresh vegetables, cheese, wine and cured meats. Once a year we run an Art Week course with an experienced facilitator and artist, a whole week of painting and drawing in our studio barn and en plein air, with delicious cooked meals throughout the week.

Swimming pool
We offer a salt based pool 12 metres by 5 metres, heated to your preference. There are plenty of sun beds and a large canvas shade if you need any respite from the sunny day.
Equipment
In each house you’ll find a coffee machine, a Bluetooth speaker, apple TV and in La Maison Rose there is two washing machines, a dryer, iron and ironing board and hoover. Each bedroom has a hairdryer and anti-mosquito plugin device.
Cleaning products
We provide dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, detergents, bin bags, loo paper and other cleaning products for your use. We have soap made by a local husband and wife team, they make soap specially for La Maison Rose in olive oil and lemon.
Young children
We provide two travel cots with mattresses, two high chairs and some books, indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, Lego and table tennis.
Heating
La Maison Rose has central heating throughout and La Maison Verte has electric storage heaters in the rooms. There are also a fire places in La Maison Rose and La Maison Verte which can be lit and the chimney’s have been recently swept. We can provide dry firewood.
There are standing fans in all the bedrooms and air-conditioning in the two double rooms in the pigeonnier.
High-speed internet
There are total speeds of over 250 Mbps in La Maison Rose and La Maison Verte and in the top courtyard. Plenty of room to stream movies and music.
Bed linen and towels
All the bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, and the towels are also pure cotton. We also provide pool towels, monogrammed Turkish towels made with organic cotton and hand towels.
Garden produce
In La Maison Rose, please help yourselves to the vegetables in the potager in the lower terraced garden. There are also herbs rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, basil and mint planted for you.
EV charging point
There is a dedicated parking space with a point (with your own connector) for electric vehicles. Within 6km there is a fast charging point of 320kw.
Barbecue
We have a large barbecue which can be used in with charcoal or gas, which is provide for your use. Instructions are available.
