The house
In the south of the Quercy the Tuscany of France...
In an idyllic spot with beautiful views, you will find this detached, attractive gite for two with use of a large swimming pool.
This authentic building has a closed and an open section under a large canopy. The unique combination of the connection with the inside and the outside gives the great outdoors feeling with the comfort of a cosy bedroom with good box-spring beds and a fresh bathroom with shower/bathtub.
The entrance is a hallway with toilet after which you enter the bedroom and bathroom. The windows are fitted with fixed mosquito nets.
Under the beautiful and cosy barn, you have a fully equipped summer kitchen and a spacious living area with a nice lounge sofa, two armchairs and a dining table.
From the accommodation you overlook the large communal garden and swimming pool (6x12 metres) which the owners and their guests can use.
In practice, you will have the pool almost largely for your own use.

In the south of Quercy, on a hill free-standing in nature, on 12 hectares of land, lies our idyllic domain with a house and a holiday cottage.
The gîte has plenty of privacy and beautiful views from the garden where there are several seating areas and you can relax in a hammock.
Getting up with the song of the golden oriole, nightingale, lark and blackbird and going to bed with the call of owls and the roebuck is a gift.
Around our beautiful spot walk our horses of the Irish Cob breed, which are Irish gypsy horses.

Restaurants, food & wine
Nearby are nice markets with local produce such as every Sunday in Moissac, Montcuq and Castelnau-Montratier with many cosy restaurants in, among others, one of the most beautiful villages in France Lauzerte, and the beautiful dark wines of Cahors are within driving distance. Several wineries can be visited in the region.
Activities
In the extreme south of Quercy, you will find this attractive accommodation. A beautifully varied hilly landscape with sunflower fields, fruit and vegetable cultivation, forests, meadows, oak woods and lakes, but above all the wide views.
It is an ideal base for rest and nature lovers, hikers, horse riders and cyclists.
In the vicinity are several swimming and fishing lakes.
Six kilometres away is Cazes-Mondenard, a small village with a bakery, grocery shop and restaurant. More shops and restaurants can be found in Castelau- Montratier, Lauzerte, Moissac and Montcuq, among others.
Higher up Lauzerte (14 kilometres) is an arty fortified town with nice restaurants and a large supermarket and is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Other towns well worth a visit are Cahors, Montauban and Toulouse.
Throughout the year, and especially in the summer months, almost every surrounding village organises events such as music, brocantes, markets and marches gourmand (super cosy).Directly from the property there is a hiking trail and there are several footpaths, including the GR65 (St. Jacques Compostelle).
