The house
Detached house on the estate "Le pré vert". Built in the 18th century, renovated in the original atmosphere and building style, light and friendly, easy to maintain.
Ground floor: Living / dining room of 30m2 with open kitchen. Separate bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Hallway / bedroom of 10m2. Large south facing terrace with garden furniture, pergola and panoramic views of the surroundings.
All furniture, blankets, wood stove.
Linen for hire by arrangement.
Floor: Bedroom of 30m2 with large balcony.

Your house is situated on a private property of five hectares; gardens, fields, woods and an orchard. Will you be there when the cherries are ripe, the plums, berries, figs or apricots?
On your doorstep is a medieval landscape, quiet, rugged and lovely, grand and sheltered, endless vistas under an endless sky. In your house you will find a detailed map and walking and cycling routes. The people are friendly and helpful, they still have time for each other.
In Caylus, the nearest town, you will find all shops and public facilities, old streets, markets and festivals. Also easy to reach by train and plane.

You live in the middle of the great wine regions of Gaillac, Cahors and Frontonnais; fine tap wines for a few euros to the more expensive ones from famous Chateaux.
You will find a wealth of tasty things to offer at the many markets in this famous culinary region. You will find simple restaurants with special local dishes for little money, or famous ones with a few Michelin stars.

Swimming in lakes, rivers, children's pool.
All sports, including white water rafting or caving.
Culture: castles, churches and abbeys, famous medieval towns like Rocamadour, Albi, Cordes sur Ciel, Conques and Moissac.
