Please be assured that our home is as exactly as the photos show. It is a well furnished and comfortable house in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is located in green hills, in a quiet cul de sac containing just 4 large detached houses. It is less than ten minutes drive from the nearest town of CÉRET. All you will hear is bird song.
It is completely secluded and peaceful with plenty of parking behind a lockable-gated entrance.
The house faces south hence its Catalan name, the "sunny house" and the view out is of our green valley known officially as the Vert Vallon looking towards the hills separating France from Spain.
A car. is essential to visit the area albeit there is a bus at the end of the road to the house that does go every so often to Perpignan at a cost of 1€.
The welcoming Catalonian town OF CÉRET, the capital of Vallespir, nestling at the base of the Albères massif, unites tradition with modernity with its shady avenues and tall plane trees. Famous in the area for its weekly Saturday market and weekday night market and less than ten minutes drive (4 km) from our house: home to the renowned museum of modern art (Picasso lived in Céret). There is an Annual bull running festival in July as well as many other “fetes” celebrating music and dance. There are many restaurants in Céret and locally, ranging from Gourmet to Pizza.

This is a quiet area so local laws regarding noise must be respected (e.g. no music outside)
