The house
Paradis Gite - accommodation for two adults plus 1 child.
The building is on two floors. The open plan kitchen on the ground floor is equipped to a high specification with everything you would find in your home. ( induction hob and oven; Dishwasher; washing maching; nespresso coffee machine and microwave. The internal dining area has a wall mounted TV with French TV channels and is connected to a DVD player. There is a high chair for toddlers. The patio provides for outdoor dining with a gas plancha. There is a large shower on the first floor along with a king size bed and a toddlers cot. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. Guests have the benefit of a large flat-screen TV with international channels. A separate toilet is on the ground floor. The balcony on the first floor provides an opportunity for guests to sit back, relax and catch the evening sun. Guests have access to the shared heated swimspa (April - October) and garden. The property benefits from dual air-con and a wood burner.

Prades is a small market town at the foot of the Pyrenees. The area is ideal for access to: climbing, hiking or skiing in the Pyrenees; the Mediterranean beaches of Canet and Argeles-sur-Mer and the many nearby beautiful médiéval French and Spanish villages. The town is 1hr from the Les Angles skiing slopes and 1hr from the beautiful Mediterranean beaches.

Activities
Painting courses can be arranged via a local, English speaking professional artist. The ski slopes (46kms) are a 1hr drive from door to the Les Angles ski lift; the Med beaches 45mins and the Figueres (Spain) the home of the Dali Museum a 1hr drive. Guests are able to book transport to one of the Canigo refuges prior to commencing the 3hr ascent to the summit.
Walking trails are extensive and guests are provided with maps and walking poles if required.
In addition, horse riding; kayaking; canyoning; fishing; lake swimming and organised hiking are all available.
