The house
Le Bien Aller' is a comfortable holiday home with room for 6 people. The detached villa has its own parking space, a beautiful swimming pool and is surrounded by a walled garden.
The house is built in Catalan style, with the living quarters on the 1st floor.
The lounge has a sitting and dining area and opens onto a sunny terrace with views of the pool and mountains.
The kitchen is equipped with induction hob, oven, grill, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, fridge-freezer and air conditioning.
There are 3 bedrooms, each for 2 persons, with comfortable beds. A cot can be added on request. The bathroom is fully equipped.
The master bedroom has a balcony and a private shower room with toilet and sink.
WiFi and satellite TV are available.
Around the beautiful and spacious swimming pool (9x4m) is a large terrace with sun loungers. There is also a nice seating area in a shady part of the garden and a dining table with barbecue at the side of the house.
There is also a table tennis table.

'Le Bien Aller' is located on the main road from Laroque-Des-Alberes to the mountain village of Villelongue-Dels-Monts. The cosy village centre of Laroque-Des-Alberes is about 3 minutes' walk from the house. The village has several shops (including, of course, a bakery), restaurants and terraces. 'Fêtes' and other events are regularly organised in the open-air theatre.
The beautiful Mediterranean beaches, some 9 km away, are easily accessible by bicycle, car or bus. Besides sun, beach and water sports, the coastal towns offer plenty of entertainment and nightlife for all ages.
From the village there are wonderful hiking trails, including to the top of the Pic Neolous. The view from the top stretches from the Rousillon plain in the north to the bay of Rosas in the south.
Near Laroque are numerous medieval towns with narrow streets, squares, old churches, monasteries and castles.
In Ceret (20 km) there is a famous museum of modern art and a nice market every Saturday.
Picturesque Collioure, beautifully situated on the Côte Vermeille, has an imposing castle and plenty of galleries, shops, restaurants and terraces.
Perpignan, the nearest big city, has many shops and several sights, including the Palace of the Kings of Majorca and several museums.
Just across the Spanish border, about a 30-minute drive away, Figueres is home to Salvador Dali's museum.
A day trip to Girona (80 km) or Barcelona (175 km) is also easily possible.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit fijne huis. Het huis is ruim, comfortabel, en alles is heel netjes. De tuin heeft fijne zitplekken en een heerlijk zwembad. De locatie is fijn: in een rustige buurt, maar op loopafstand van de dorpskern met een bakker, slager, restaurants, etc. Grote supermarkten liggen op een paar minuten met de auto.Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om naar stranden of bergen te gaan, en Perpignan is een half uurtje rijden. Wij hebben fietsen (electrische met karretje voor kind en gravelbike) gehuurd in Sorede om de omgeving te verkennen. Strand is in een half uur te fietsen.

Een fijn vakantiehuis, op loopafstand van een gezellig dorp met veel leuke restaurantjes en een zeer goede bakker. Alles aanwezig in het huis. Fijne bedden, mooie inrichting. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie uitstapjes in de omgeving, bijvoorbeeld naar de kust met prachtige stranden en heel mooie plaatsjes, waarvan Collioure, wat ons betreft, zeker de moeite waard is om te bezoeken.

Wat een fijn vakantiehuis, op loopafstand van een gezellig dorp met winkels en veel leuke restaurantjes. Alles wat je maar nodig hebt om een fijne vakantie te vieren is aanwezig in het huis. Fijne bedden, gezellige inrichting. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie uitstapjes in de omgeving. In het dorp beginnen wandelroutes van verschillende lengtes.
We hopen zeker nog een keer terug te gaan!
