The house
Mauzac le blanc pétillant is qualified at 4 stars. It is one of three flats at Gites-terroirs-Occitanie
Sparkling white, named after the grape variety from which a delicious, sparkling white wine is made in our region. A very spacious and comfortable flat (100m²) for one to six people. The views from the lounge and terrace are breathtaking.
Mauzac has three separate bedrooms. Two rooms with double box spring beds (160×200) and one room with two single box spring beds. The double beds can be pushed apart. The largest bedroom is downstairs. There you will also find a bathroom with walk-in shower and a washbasin. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor, as well as a second bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

Feilluns is located in beautiful natural surroundings. It lends itself perfectly to walks and bicycle rides. You will find a variety of plants, herbs, flowers and food, such as asparagus, berries, truffles and mushrooms. In Feilluns, you will also find almond trees, wild cherry trees, mimosa and many grape varieties, from which wine is made.
In Feilluns, you can go swimming in the river. The most magical swimming spot is Gourgoullidou with large, polished rocks, a small waterfall and very clear water. In some places, the ground is sandy and you can see trout swimming there.
Furthermore, near Feilluns you will find dolmens, the Roman aqueduct at Assignan and Pic de Lazerou, a mountain top with an orientation table.

Restaurants, food & wine
Languedoc Roussillon is the largest wine region in France. In our area are many winegrowers where you can taste wine.
Within half an hour from the gite there are several good restaurants.
The area is also known for its Catalan delicacies such as sausage, honey, wild boar and cheese from mountain sheep and goats.
On 15 August, the village prepares Carcolade (snails the Catalan way).
Bread service
As the baker is only in the village at noon, we offer our guests a bread roll service.
Table d'hôtes at Gites-terroirs-Occitanie (book 2 days in advance)
We always start with an aperitif offered by us.
For €25 p.p.p. we serve a delicious three-course dinner with starter, main course and a small dessert with coffee or tea. Three glasses of local wine per person are also included.
Children up to 12 years old € 10 p.p.p.d.
The option for dinner is possible on request in the low and mid season. You can mention this when booking. Dinner will be served on the terrace or in case of bad weather in your gite.
In high season we offer a special evening twice a week. (more info at the confirmation)
Breakfast
It is possible to order breakfast for €10 p.p.p.d. all year round.

For fish lovers, the Fenouillèdes is a valhalla because of its lakes and rivers.
For sports lovers, there is plenty to do in the area:
Canyoning Galamus is one of the most outstanding sports activities in the region. Canyoning is the descent of a river without a boat. That means: walking, swimming, sliding and jumping!
The Via Ferrata at Saint Paul de Fenouillet offers you the unique opportunity to discover climbing in complete safety.
For the sporty cyclist, our environment is very challenging.

Further remarks
The views from the lounge and from the terrace are breathtaking. You look out on the village that lies just below our property and the mountains on the other side of the valley.
In our garden are several places where you can sunbathe, read a book and enjoy the view.
Five days a week a baker on wheels visits our village of Feilluns. Around noon you can get fresh bread, cheese and cakes here.
The nearest bakery is twelve kilometres from our gites.
