The house
Lovely house in nature reserve Le Quercy. Close to Dordogne (10 minutes). Large south-facing terrace overlooking the garden and its own forest. A magic open space in a Forrest of oaks. The interior is fully renovated with 2 new bathrooms and a new kitchen. Pictures to be followed.
+ Very private place. Sunny, nice warm atmosphere. Spacious!
+ The region has lots to offer. Nice mix of nature and culture. Great for walking, biking, wine tours or a ride in a canoe. City's like Cahors, Gourdon, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Figeac, Domme, Saint Cirque-La Popie are close. Lots of marquets in the villages nearby.
Spring start early here. In march we have already a nice weather and summer lasts till November.
- The large living room is 80 m2 and has a fireplace.
- spacious terrace with a vue of the woods, a big barbecue, comfortable garden furniture.
- Well equiped kitchen (dish-washer, washing machine, very good oven, lots of material for the chef who loves to cook).
- Good beds and quality garden furniture (wood).
- Television, dvd-player and free wifi available.
- 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (1 with bath)
- An extra double convertable sofa-bed in the living room, easy to use and comfortable.
A paradise for nature lovers who also like comfort. The house is very suitable too for a holiday with friends or with adolescents because of the extra bed- and bathrooms.
The house is having two new bathrooms and a new kitchen in October 2022. Be the first to experience them!

Little green paradise in the middle of the woods. Fully renovated and modernised in april 2019. The house is fully equiped with a kitchen proof to lovers of cooking. Healthiest air of France in this green oasis on a hill. Excellent to discover the Dordogne, but stay in the quiet of the Lot. Our region is still a undiscovered district of France: Cahors, St Cyrq la Popie, Gramat, Rocamadour, Souillac, Sarlat, Domme, caves and castles all within 20 - 40 kilometer.

Dankjewel voor deze mooie recensie. Fijn dat je het zo naar je zin hebt gehad!!
Hugo de Vries from Rosmalen,
Restaurants, food & wine
Ici, on mange bien, they say in the Lot and indeed no shortage of delicacies. Specialties of the Lot are lamb, (goat) cheeses (Rocamadour and the Cantal), walnuts, truffles, foie gras, saffron, melon and cèpe (porcini mushrooms). The region is also famous for its wines. Previously because of the distinctive black wines, nowadays because of the Malbec, which gives a beautiful full wine. The area is therefore popular for wine tours. Lovers of a beautiful wine route can visit and taste more than sixty winemakers.
Activities
A swinging pool and several lakes nearby. Nice region for a walk in nature, biking or just meditate on my terrace. The caves and castles of the Dordogne are close. Lots of cultural places to be (the museum of Ossip Zadkine, movie festival at Gindou, concerts in Cahors), good restaurants, drinks with character and the nicest french people you have ever met are around. The most authentic region of France and a poetic landscape of hills, forests and meadows with sheep and cows.
