The house
Gite Manseng covers an area of 45 m². The space is practical, with clear, well equipped kitchen, a dining table with four chairs, a seating area and a separate sleeping area. The bathroom has a shower and a small bath. From the private terrace you have a view on both the courtyard as the Green Valley for the Manor.
In the kitchen there is a gas stove with four basins and oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer, a coffee maker, an electric water kettle, a toaster, a large and a small pan, 4 good cooking pots, a saucepan, some oven dishes and plenty of small kitchen equipment.
Who wants to can use the joint washing machine. In your storage space is a drying rack, ironing board and iron.
On request we deliver you a baby cot and high chair.

In the middle of rural France, surrounded by pasture and woodland, Le Manoir is build against agains a hill situated in the quiet hamlet of La Forge, hidden at the beginning of the sheltered valley of the Borrèze river (an affluent of the Dordogne river). Souillac is three miles distance away, a popular market town with lots of restaurants, shops, banks and other facilities and famous for its abbey church with beautiful sculptures.

Eind juni wandelden we de 'walk a lot' wandeltocht van 6 dagen Dit is een geweldig concept
Alle 3 deelnemende B&B 's waren top. Gastvrije ontvangst, fijne accomodaties, lekker eten, mooie locaties en prachtige wandelingen. Le Manoir was een van deze B&B's.
Jan en Marjon zijn heel gastvrij. Jan geeft je alle nodige tips om de streek te verkennen,
het eten was heerlijk, kortom, een echte aanrader voor wie van rust houdt.Helma Mes from Amsterdam,
we heben het heel gezellig gehad in de gites van de manoir.
Vriendelijke eigenaar die de rust bewaakte heerlijk zwembad en omgeving waar genoeg te ondernemen is.
Het was te heet om wat wandelingen te maken de eigenaar had daar ook arragementen voor.

The area is one of the most beautiful and particularly liked of France and offers an ideal combination of landscape variations, an overflow of culture and the excellent cuisine, all influenced by the mild Mediterranean climate. Le Manoir is the ideal point of departure to visit the many impressive castles and medieval villages, as well as prehistoric cave paintings and carvings. We invite you to discover the richness of the Quercy-Périgord.
Rather sporty?
For walkers and cyclists are the hills around Le Manoir a challenge. Your own bike can be stored safe and dry in our barn. If you like, you can rent a bike in Souillac.
Are you a golfer, or do you just want to try it? Less than 2 km away is a beautiful (but according ro experts also difficult!) 18-hole golf course.
And one of the all-time classics is of course a canoe trip on the Dordogne river. You can choose the distance and duration.
