This 'en Pierre' gite is located in the courtyard of the chateau. Access both from the courtyard, and the west terrace by the pool. Enjoy views of meadow, woodland, pool and west as far as you can see.
Take a refreshing dip in the (seasonal) pool, surrounded by lovely garden and the chateau's architecture. Be enchanted by the rustic atmosphere of this unique location.

Domaine de Belbouys is a partly 15th-century 'Maison Forte' on 35 hectares of land, woods, meadows, orchards and gardens. Because the gites are on a hill, you can enjoy panoramic views to the west. The estate is very quiet and you can mostly hear the birds, the rustling of the trees and at night the birds of prey. You can enjoy woods, wild meadows, fields, orchard and vegetable garden. In autumn, there is fruit in abundance.
The region also offers plenty of outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, golfing, horse riding, and climbing, making it a paradise for nature lovers. (9-hole golf course next door)
The Lot department, located in south-western France, is known for its picturesque landscapes, medieval villages and rich history. The Lot is named after the river of the same name that flows through the area and is characterised by rolling hills, green valleys and vast vineyards. Close by, you will find beautiful wine estates to visit.
Nearby, you will find charming villages such as Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Cahors, all of which are among the most beautiful villages in France. These historic towns are dotted with ancient castles, churches and narrow alleys that take you back in time.

Restaurants, food & wine
The area around Domaine de Belbouys has delicious local dishes such as foie gras, truffles and Cahors wine. Very close by you will find wine estates such as Chateau La Martine and Chateau Pineraie, where you can taste and buy the delicious wines of the Lot valley.
At 1.5 km is a fantastic restaurant, Le Loup Blanc in the village of Saint Martin le Redon.

The Lot department, located in south-western France, is a beautiful region full of charming villages, impressive nature and historical sites. The gites of Domaine de Belbouys are located around a partly 15th-century 'Maison Forte' with courtyard and on a hill, so beautiful views.
In the surrounding area you will find many picturesque villages such as Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. These medieval villages are beautifully situated on hills and offer breathtaking views. Enjoy the many flea markets and markets with delicious local products.

From our Domaine you can enjoy cycling, hiking, and at our neighbours you can hit a ball on the 9-hole golf course!
On our own property you can enjoy the gardens, woods and weised, and at dusk you don't have to make much effort to spot deer and other wildlife (there are deer, boars, foxes, badgers, red partridges and even the woodcock!)
In short, the Lot offers something for everyone and is the ideal destination for a relaxing and versatile holiday in the heart of France.

Further remarks
Domaine de Belbouys is an oasis of tranquillity, yet close to all amenities. At an 8-minute drive (in Fumel/Montayral) you will find large supermarkets like the Leclerc, Lidl and Intermarche and Action.
You can fish on the river Lot (7 min) and at the Trout pond in St Martin le Redon.
Golf can be played at our neighbours, who operate a beautiful 9-hole golf course.
There are walking and cycling routes along fields, woods and vineyards in the immediate vicinity. It is also possible to rent Fatbikes a short distance away.
At the Domaine itself you may pick fruit in autumn, such as Mirabelles, plums, apples, pears etc.
