New in Rocamadour: Le Cadre Doré
In Blanat, a hamlet near Rocamadour, we have transformed our former 'grange' into a cosy, modern furnished gîte 'Le Cadre Doré'. With all modern conveniences, situated on a quiet but central spot in the 'Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy', between the dazzling and spectucular Rocamadour and Padirac with its unique 'Gouffre'.
The gîte is ideally located for exploring many of the sights in the Lot and Dordogne. In the whole area you will find restaurants and cosy terraces for the inner man.
In the garden of Le Cadre Doré you can relax in the sun or under the shade of the 'erable de Montpellier'. Of course the BBQ is not missing.
Le Cadre Doré is 40 m2 and has a living room with a sitting and dining area, an open-plan kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a separate room/dressing area with a sofa bed for an extra bed if necessary. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.
Shops and supermarkets at 3 to 6 km. French TV is available in the gite.

The Lot is a true paradise for the "curious" tourist. The region offers walking routes through beautiful natural areas. There are also numerous markets and flea markets in the most beautiful villages in the vicinity. There is a multitude of medieval castles, bastides, churches and other interesting buildings. Here are some suggestions. Apart from Rocamadour, which of course you should not miss, Loubressac, St. Cirq Lapopie, Autoire and Collonge-la-Rouge are really worth a visit. Also the cosy towns of Cahors, Figeac and Sarlat can be reached in about an hour.

Wij, Adri & Anna, waren in juni in Blanat, in "le Cadre Doré.
* omgeving een oase van rust
* gezellig ingerichte gîte, met allerlei leuke details
* overvloedig bestek en servies, kookgerei
* heerlijke handdoeken, die regelmatig "ververst" werden
* mooie tuin, met meerdere zitjes, heerlijk om 's ochtends met ontbijt de dag te beginnen
* toppunt van "luxe" een aparte kamer voor bagage en kleding mèt kledingrek
* en "enfin et surtout" ...... de eigenaren van "le cadre doré" Mieke en Frits, een warm en gastvrij koppel
* we hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in een prachtige gîte en schitterende natuur

Séjour très agréable dans un joli gîte , fonctionnel et bien décoré par Mieke , situé dans un hameau tranquille , à proximité de nombreux sites sans afflux touristique trop important au mois de juin .

Leuk en volledig ingericht huisje op een rustige locatie, vlakbij diverse bezienswaardigheden. Het huisje heeft een vliegenhor in de slaapkamer, zodat je met het raam open kan slapen. Ruime tuin met diverse zitjes. Het huisje was zeer schoon en compleet ingericht. Hele aardige eigenaren.
