The house
Our gite for up to 4 people is a cosy "en Pierre" cottage with two double bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower, living room with open kitchen and a lovely wood-burning stove for the colder periods. The cottage is fully equipped and you have a cosy private terrace with your own garden fireplace/barbecue. On site, our swimming pool is available to you and you can enjoy our large garden.
What could be better than a crusty baguette or croissant for breakfast? Tell us what you need in the evening and we will make sure you can enjoy it in the morning.

Our Mas is located on the D15 and is very easy to reach within 15 minutes from the A20 Brive-Toulouse motorway. you can quickly visit all the beautiful sights this beautiful region has to offer. Behind our house is our quiet, large garden overlooking the rolling hills and the village of Mayrac. Next to our house a large walnut orchard of which this region has a lot. The village of Saint Sozy can be reached in 5 minutes and for larger supermarkets you drive to Souillac in 10 minutes.

Eating out and quietly enjoying a French terrace is done in Martel..a beautiful medieval square where live music is played almost every weekend (in season). The area we are in is a walnut area but in the Lot you have beautiful wineries such as Villa Cahors Malbec Lounge in Cahors, Domaine Des Sangliers in Puy-l' Eveque or the Chateau Saint-Sernin in Parnac. And should you love it..this region is also known for its Foie gras.
Activities
In the immediate surroundings, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and fishing in the Dordogne. Within 30 minutes you will find the most beautiful medieval villages and castles that the Vallée de la Dordogne has to offer, such as Rocamadour, Sarlat, Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne and many more. The children won't get bored either because there is plenty to do for them too, such as; Prehisto Dino Park, Reptiland, the Martel steam train, paintball, Quercyland in Souillac and various exciting, beautiful caves.
Further remarks
Our quiet, large garden is attractively lit at night, has nice seating areas, you can relax in a hammock or just lounge in the shade that some fruit trees have to offer. There are swings for the children and with the family you can play Jeu de Boules or cool off in our swimming pool during the day. While the children are swimming, you can relax on our relaxing wooden loungers while enjoying an Aperol spritz.
