The house
The property at Les Leroux is a beautifully restored farmhouse and barn, set in an unspoilt rural location amidst rolling fields and woodland. The barn has been converted into 2 gites, each having 3 bedrooms, bathroom and open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave, a fireplace, a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A fridge, an oven and stovetop are also offered, as well as a kettle. Individual patios, equipped with barbecue and garden furniture, overlook the 10x5m swimming pool and sun terrace. Utility room with washing and ironing facilities. The village of Frayssinet-le-Gelat is 2 km away, with restaurant, and artisan baker, plus a picturesque lake.

Voor een heerlijke vakantie, met hartelijk ontvangst en prachtig uitzicht kun je hierheen. Wij hebben genoten van het heerlijke zwembad, de ruime gite met eigen terras en het prachtige uitzicht. Het zwembad en omgeving werd goed onderhouden. In de omgeving is veel te bezichtigen met de auto. Ook kun je actief zijn op de Lot en de dordogne. Voor de boodschappen kun je goed terecht in Prayssac. Wil je regelmatig koken, hou er dan rekening mee, dat de basis aanwezig is, maar dat het vrij basic is allemaal.

The gite is beautiful. Gorgeous setting. So peaceful. We had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time as it is shared by only 2 gites. The surrounding area is beautiful too. Lots to see and do. Paul and Sureya are fabulous hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they make some great recommendations for where to eat and what to see. Perfect holiday.

Nearest restaurants are within walking distance. They are Plan d'O at the lake and Cafe Bourian in Frayssinet-le-Gelat.
The local area has numerous very good restaurants that serve local food and wine within a few minutes drive.
Activities
The Tour de France 2024 is due to pass the bottom of our lane on 11th July, just 200 metres from our gites, and will pass through the village. Book early for your prime position to watch the spectacle.

Situated near Frayssinet-le-Gélat, an hour south of Bergerac and just a few minutes from the river Lot, La Libellule and Le Papillon gites at Les Leroux, feature a 10 metre seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and lovely garden views. The pool is for guests of both gites to use.
Additional price info and offers
If you need to wash bedding or towels before 7 days have elapsed, you can use the washing machine provided, or we can launder it for you at a charge.
We provide a complimentary welcome pack with some basic provisions. We are able to provide additional provisions for you from the local supermarket at an additional charge of 20 euros to cover the cost of fuel. Please provide us with a shopping list a few days before your arrival and we will leave it in your gite ready for your arrival. We would ask you to pay for the shopping in cash before the end of your stay with us.
