The house
You will stay in a fully equipped, attractively converted French-style house with a covered balcony at the front and a large terrace with a saltwater pool at the back. The house has a double and triple bedroom. When booking a total of 4 people, 1 bed is taken away.
The property has 3 stars according to the French classification. Access to the property is at the front via a wide stone staircase.
The cosy living room has a large fireplace with a wood-burning stove, a sofa, a dining area with 6 chairs, plenty of cupboard space and a well-stocked bookcase.
There is a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven. To the side is your private terrace with a table and chairs, fixed BBQ, parasol and shade cloth. Slightly higher is a plateau where you can enjoy being by yourself with a good book or for taking a relaxing siesta. The house has a fixed internet connection and Wifi.
Through the living room you enter the hallway with access to the bathroom and the 2 bedrooms, both with large built-in wardrobes and 2.10m beds.
The 'blue' bedroom at the front adjoins the balcony and has 3 single beds (linkable on request), the 'bird room' at the back adjoins the large wooden terrace around the pool and has a double bed. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet, washbasin and towel radiator.
If you come with more than 5 people, we have an extra accommodation with sitting, sleeping and bathroom for up to 4 people. Please contact us about this. You can also contact us if you come alone.
Pets are not allowed. I'm sure you can find addresses where your dog can stay. And sometimes it's nice to be completely free to go wherever you want.

Driving up through Concorès, past the rustic houses in the old bourg, you almost drive into it:
La Maison aux Volets Bleus (the house with the blue shutters). Located at the foot of the hills, the house looks into the village.
Down in the village is a pizzeria/crêperie and a small supermarket for fresh bread, croissants and your daily shopping. In Gourdon (12 km) are the big supermarkets, pharmacies, hospital, shops, restaurants and terraces. In Saint Germain du Bel Air (3 km) there is a friendly GP, a pharmacy and an ATM.

Table d'hôtes
During your stay, we provide a table d'hôtes once or twice a week, according to your wishes. We then strive to emulate French cuisine and cook with passion for you!
In the vicinity there are many opportunities to enjoy a delicious meal. Furthermore, every week there are many cosy markets with culinary products and wines in the authentic villages in the Lot.
Activities
Several hiking and cycling routes start right next to the house.
In consultation, we can rent bicycles/mountain bikes/e-bikes or even a tandem for you to explore the area in a different way.
Down in the village is the municipal tennis court where you can play tennis for €3 per hour. You can reserve a court at the café opposite. Nearby you can go horse riding, canoeing on the Dordogne and Célé rivers, abseiling and much more. There are also great climbing forests. The Lot is a fantastic area with plenty of opportunities for excursions. You won't get bored easily.
Excursions: the medieval Gourdon, the cosy and culturally rich Sarlat, the beautiful La Roque Gageac, the extraordinary Domme, the authentic Cahors with the famous Pont Valentré, the pilgrimage site Rocamadour, the city of Albi and the impressive Saint Cirq-Lapopie, built high above the Lot, all cities within a 10-60 minutes' drive.
There are also several pretty villages/towns in the vicinity with their cosy markets and terraces, such as Cazals and Souillac. Don't miss the pottery village of Uzech!
In the Lot, the concentration of 'Les plus Beaux Villages' is no less than 6 times greater than in average France.
Also nearby are the famous caves Pech Merle, Cougnac and the Gouffre de Padirac. A little further away are the caves of Lascaux. In Les Arques, a 15-minute drive away, you will find a cute museum by Zadkine
Along the Dordogne River are numerous lovely swimming spots/beaches, often with views of the beautiful castles and gardens along this river.
For wine lovers, the Vallée du Lot is home to the famous Cahors vineyards and chateaux where you can often enjoy fine dining.
Finally, there are 3 golf courses nearby.
