The house is situated on the highest hilltop in the region and has a unique panoramic view. You also enjoy complete privacy and this at 5 minutes from a picturesque village with a busy Sunday market with fresh regional products. Pure peace and quiet are guaranteed. The house is very tastefully decorated and offers all comforts. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and toilets. There is a covered outdoor terrace and a swimming dock. The beautiful lavender and flowers (especially roses)
make your holiday complete; There are plenty of opportunities for relaxation. A kayak trip on the Dordogne or the Lot, a visit to the monkey park in Rocamadour, a wine tour through the Cahors region or visits to Domme, Bonaguil, Souillac will certainly charm you. In the village there is a beautiful swimming lake with a sandy beach and there are all the necessary shops and services.

The house is situated in a classified nature reserve on a hilltop at 3 km from Cazals, between Gourdon and Cahors on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot.
There are numerous footpaths all around and the area is very wooded and sparsely populated.

Activities
The region offers many tourist possibilities. You can follow a wine route, visit caves or castles or attend a concert. Authentic small French villages offer you hospitality and make you de-stress. .
In Cazals, there is a tourist office. Cahors and the medieval town of Gourdon are respectively 30 and 20 minutes away. In Salviac at 5 km there is a new swimming dock and in the neighbourhood of Zion two swimming lakes. You can go kayaking or canoeing on the Lot or Dordogne. Horse lovers are also well catered for.

Le Repos is een prachtig huis, heel compleet. Het ligt op een schitterende plek, midden in de natuur. We hebben erg genoten van het uitzicht, de vogels en de reeën die in de tuin langs kwamen. Het contact met de heer De Pooter en de Franse sleutelbeheerders was erg prettig.
