The house
This beautiful gîte is a haven of peace in the rolling meadows of the Lot. Bonatelier has been beautifully decorated by its very friendly owners. With a touch of design against a historic backdrop of stone walls, this gite reflects a warm personal style. The small swimming pool/spa (heatable to 30 degrees) completes this romantic Getaway.
Interior
There are two lovely double bedrooms and a large upstairs bedroom with two double beds. Please note that this bedroom has a low ceiling so very large people should sleep in the downstairs bedrooms.... further a mezzanine with a folding bed of 1.40. Two nice bathrooms. The living room of Bonatelier is perfect for cosy evenings by the wood fire and is connected to an impressive and brilliantly equipped kitchen where you can organise dinners with the best ingredients from the local traditional markets. In summer, the French doors open onto the south-west-facing terrace where you can barbecue in a peaceful setting, dine al fresco and enjoy fine wine from the nearby wineries.
Outside
The views from the terrace are incredibly beautiful. There is a great sense of privacy on the stylish terrace where you can sunbathe, or maybe you prefer to just enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful place, or relax with one of your good books. There is also a boules court and a badminton set.

Activities
This is the real France with undulating countryside, idyllic rivers and ancient villages and towns. One of the most beautiful villages in the region is Puy-l'Évêque, high above the Lot River with narrow medieval streets, quaint restaurants and charming shops to explore. On Tuesday mornings, visit the traditional market where you can buy seasonal produce and local delicacies, then head to the river for the perfect picnic. Prayssac, much closer, also has a beautiful market and lots of quaint little streets to wander through. This area is also known for some of the best wines in the world and there are many excellent wineries nearby to explore. The famous town of Cahors on the River Lot is just over half an hour away, while other highlights of the region include Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Rocamadour, as well as the famous villages of the Dordogne.
