The house
`Le Beau Rêve, a cosy gîte located in an authentic small village called Plaussenous in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
Enjoying the Mediterranean climate, surrounded by forests, mountains, and rugged nature and a short drive from several beaches on the River Orb.
A 10-minute drive takes you to picturesque villages, where you will find the bakery and epicerie, as well as cosy restaurants, terraces, shops and markets. Leisure facilities such as hiking, canoeing, cycling (VTV) and swimming are also close by.

The cities of Beziers, Montpellier, Lac du Salagou and the seaside resort of Valras are only an hour's drive away.
The Gîte:
You enter through a spacious sunny terrace of approximately 40m2 overlooking the mountains.
The terrace is equipped with the necessary garden furniture, large parasol and outdoor fireplace.
On the terrace, the garden doors open into the cosy living room with dining kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances.
The television has local French channels via antenna and via chromecast you can use various apps such as Netflix, NL Ziet.
Wifi is available throughout the cottage.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom with toilet
The staircase in the living room leads to the 1st bedroom, with large double bed (160x200) and bathroom en suite.
The 2nd bedroom, with private entrance from outside, has a double bed (140×200) or possibly two single beds and a bathroom with toilet en suite.
This bathroom also has a washing machine.
There is a small sitting area with television and coffee/tea facilities.
You can park near the house, which can be reached via a slightly sloping path through the village.
Due to several floors and here and there a step, the house is
unfortunately less suitable for the disabled.
A cot is available and for a small fee we can add a bed for the 5th person if necessary.
Pets are certainly welcome, with a max of 2 due to space constraints.
The rental includes linen, towels, kitchen package and final cleaning.
Also if you are passing through or want to get away for a weekend.
Le beau Rêve can be booked from 1 night or more.
Due to the absence of the baker in the village, we can arrange for a breakfast basket to be ready on arrival for a small fee.

Na een warme ontvangst van de lieve dames genoten van een weekje in dit mooi gezellig huisje met prachtig uitzicht!

Wat hebben wij hier als gezin met 2 tieners een prachtige week gehad, we hebben volop genoten van jullie fraaie en smaakvolle verblijf en de omgeving, we voelden ons gelijk thuis!
De Hérault is een prachtige streek, veel te zien en te doen, prachtige dorpjes met steervolle markjes, kanoën op de orb, heerlijk wandelen in de omgeving en bij thuiskomst is het lekker rustig en heerlijk vertoeven op het terras...we hebben lang nog niet alles gezien, dus we komen zeker volgend jaar weer bij jullie terug!

Dear Kim and Joanna ,
We wanna thank you so much for the stay at you amazing house in the France Pyrenees . The place and the surrounding gives you so much freedom and space to get back to yourself and find out what is the purpose of life .
With our 5 dogs we had an amazing time the small village of Plaussenous, everybody have us a warm welcome especially the two owners Kim and Joanna, everybody knows if there is a special connection to other people who are open , even pets , like our dogs could feel it , you are welcome .
The house is amazing, equipped with everything you need , we did never miss one thing at the house .
The tranquility and freedom you have there it’s hard to find and even so close to a lot of attractive points of hiking bathing lakes biking and other activities you might wanna enjoy .
It really is a ,, all inclusive „“ vacation if you love the nature ant just , maybe find out , what really matters in life
We really wanna thank you so much ,Kim and Joanna, that we got to know you both , and had the pleasure to stay at your home , and we are looking forward to see you again in September and spend some time ,Drink included, you are invited lol

Enjoy the silence of nature with a drink on the terrace.
Take a beautiful hike through the forests or via a route through the mountains, there is something for everyone, for the beginner and advanced hiker.
This also very much applies to cyclists, several VTV and MTB cycling routes can be found in the immediate vicinity.
At nearby Lamalou les Bains there is also a beautiful golf course.
For water sports activities you can enjoy the river Orb and with 50 minutes by car you can reach the beautiful Lac du Salagou or the well-known seaside resorts Valras or Cap d'Agde.
In the surrounding villages, besides the beautiful views, you will also find nice restaurants, terraces, wine caves and markets.
Don't forget to visit Pézenas, the charming town among the vineyards.
