The house
Detached house in beautiful natural area. Ground floor: sitting area with fireplace, dining area with open kitchen (living room & kitchen renewed - unfortunately no pictures yet), 3 bedrooms, modern bathroom with washing machine. Separate toilet.
Covered terrace with lovely views. Communal swimming pool (there are 11 cottages on site) and tennis court.

The cottage is located in a beautiful quiet area. Near the beach (45 minutes) and cities Clermont l'Herault and the nice city Montpellier (30 min), also close to special areas such as cirque de Moureze

Heerlijk huisje met schitterend uitzicht en met een groot zwembad op het terrein. De omgeving is verrassend mooi met veel te doen en te bezoeken. Het strand is ook nabij met etangs en leuke vissersdorpjes.

Twee heerlijke weken gehad in Marcassins 4 met mijn gezin met 3 jonge kinderen. De omgeving is erg mooi en rustig. Heerlijke bakkertje in de buurt, mooie wandelingen, goed zwembad, prachtige stranden niet al te ver en prima meren om in te zwemmen of dammen te bouwen. Het huisje heeft prachtig uitzicht op mooie bergen en ligt vlak naast een erg pitoreske dorpje. Goed tot rust gekomen en erg leuke dingen gedaan, wij komen zeker terug!

Gezin met twee tieners. Leuk huis in prachtige omgeving. Het is een oase van rust met prachtige wandelmogelijkheden in het 'rode landschap'. In de omgeving genoeg te zien en de zee is een half uurtje rijden (Cap d'Agde).
Restaurants, food & wine
There are many wineries to visit in the area. In the village of Saint Jean de la Blaquire there is a fine restaurant.
Activities
The cottage is on a site with 10 other cottages. Together, these cottages have a spacious private swimming pool and tennis court.
The house is situated in a special nature reserve called Les Ruffes, 'the red area'. This refers to the red rocks in which streams have carved small canyons. A wonderful area to wander around - also an exciting playground for children. You can hike in the neighbourhood, and there are mountain bike trails. Furthermore, you can swim, canoe and sail near Lac So Salagu.
In addition, you can easily go from the house to the Mediterranean Sea and to many nice villages and towns in the area. Montpellier is 30-40 minutes drive from our house.

The changeover day is in principle Saturday. In the low season, when for example you come by plane, another changeover day is negotiable.
