The house
An authentic wine grower's house in the middle of the beautiful village of Roquebrun.
Inside, everything is kept as authentic as possible; beautiful old tiled floors and marble fireplaces. It is a light house with high ceilings and high windows. Under the house, at street level, is the old wine-cave that also serves as a garage. Behind the house, next to the kitchen, there is a shady and partly covered courtyard. Especially in the hottest summer months you will be very happy with this. On the terrace floor there is a sitting room, a dining room, half-open kitchen and 2 bedrooms. And there is a very spacious attic, as a third bedroom with its own bathroom. The whole house has air conditioning.

Walking distance from the beaches of the river Orb>
The bakery and a good restaurant are next door, the grocer and cafe around the corner and three other restaurants nearby. From the spacious south-facing terrace you have views of the river, the little beach and the vineyards and hills beyond. The microclimate of Roquebrun, the sheltered south-facing terrace where you can enjoy every ray of sunshine and the fireplace make "les Hirondelles" an ideal house even in the off-season.

Activities
In Roquebrun, there is an excellent bakery, a small supermarket, several restaurants and lively terraces. It has a beautiful pebble beach, also very suitable for the little ones!
Roquebrun is located in the middle of the AOC Saint Chinian, there are beautiful domaines where you can taste wine. The cave of Roquebrun and also of Saint Chinian regularly organise wine events. If you are looking for a nice souvenir, there are regular vide greniers in Saint Chinian on Saturdays.
Canoeing on the Orb is exciting and relaxing at the same time. You can descend individually in a kayak or with more in a larger canoe. There are different departure points and distances: Roquebrun, Cessenon or Tarrassac.
Along the way, you can picnic on a beach along the river. Whatever you choose, it is relaxation for the whole family.
Jardin Méditerranéen, Open the second Sunday in February to the third Sunday in November. This garden is full of various species of Mimosas, cacti and citrus fruits. From the garden you have a beautiful view over the valley of Orb and the surrounding vineyards.
Friday morning there is a small market in Roquebrun and the Sunday morning market in Saint-Chinian is also very worthwhile.
Looking for antiques: Pezenas is full of antique shops and 2 times a year, the first Sunday in May and the first Sunday in October, the whole town is full of antiques!
Furthermore, the large cities of Beziers, Narbonne and Montpellier are worth visiting, not to mention the sea, with its beautiful sandy beaches.
Also 2 beaches where dogs are allowed!
