The house
This recently renovated cottage is centrally located in the beautiful Hérault, southern France. Located in a picturesque French village, surrounded by vineyards, not far from the Mediterranean coast, this hidden gem awaits your arrival. You can enjoy a warm and sunny climate all year round, walk or cycle from our front door, explore the vineyards of Languedoc Rousillon, and enjoy all the culture that the Hérault has to offer. The gîte of 75m2 is situated on the ground floor of a spacious detached house. There is a private entrance from the outside terrace. Surrounded by a large lush garden of 7000 m2, outdoor pool and gym, there is every opportunity for relaxation and rest. The spacious comfortable gîte consists of a living room with conservatory and very fully equipped kitchen. A spacious hall connects the living and sleeping areas and consists of a recently renovated bedroom and bathroom all in Boutique style in warm colours and in harmony with each other.

Hérault is a department in the sunny south of France at the Mediterranean Sea. The department is named after the river of the same name that runs through it. In the department, located in the Occitaine, you can enjoy wonderful beaches. Furthermore, there is plenty to discover in the department! Visit the famous vineyards, hike through the various nature reserves and enjoy the typical French cities such as Montpellier, Béziers and Sète. The beautiful lakes in the department are also worth a visit. Or pay a visit to the Grotte de Glamouse, one of the most beautiful caves of the region.

Wij zijn net terug van twee fantastische vakantie weken in de boutique gite 5. Wat een heerlijke plek om de vakantie door te brengen. Voor ons had het alles wat je van vakantie in Frankrijk mag verwachten. Twee super attente en aardige gastheren. Wanneer het nodig was, stonden ze klaar. Complete sfeervolle gite. Rondom het zwembad, en de tuin, werkelijk een klein paradijs. In omgeving hebben we heerlijk kunnen wandelen. We mochten elektrische fietsen gebruiken wanneer we wilden. Er was een compleet ingerichte fitnessruimte aanwezig. Ook is er genoeg in omgeving te bezoeken zoals de zee, Beziers, Narbonne, Pezenas, Minerve, Roquebrun etc. De supermarkten in nabijgelegen dorpen. Wij vonden het ook vooral top, dat er een compleet ingerichte keuken bij het zwembad aanwezig was, daar hebben we veel gebruik van gemaakt.

Afgelopen weekend zijn we thuisgekomen na twee heerlijke vakantieweken in Prades-sur-Vernazobre. En eerlijk gezegd hebben we nu al een beetje heimwee naar dat prachtige verblijf en zijn gastheren. De gîte is een meer dan comfortabele accommodatie met veel ruimte en een sfeervolle inrichting. Slapen in een goed, breed bed. Voldoende kastruimte. Grote badkamer met douche, zelfs zeep, shampoo en bodylotion ontbraken niet. Houd je van koken, dan kun je je hier uitleven. Compleet uitgerust en twee ovens tot je beschikking. Ook de zomerkeuken bij het prachtig aangelegde zwembad heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Eten op het terras is daar extra feestelijk, mede door alle mooie plantenbakken, die zorgvuldig worden onderhouden. Marco en Rob hebben van hun domein een klein paradijs gemaakt. De moestuin staat er prachtig bij. De verse doperwten en aardbeien smaakten heerlijk.
Zoals zij zelf op de site beschrijven, is er veel te doen in de omgeving. Wandelen, fietsen, steden bezoeken, de zee op redelijke afstand. Boodschappen doen op enkele kilometers afstand, want Prades heeft zelf geen voorzieningen.
Bijzonder is ook de aanwezigheid van de gym en de mogelijkheid gebruik te maken van de elektrische fietsen.
Alles ademt sfeer en zorg voor gast en omgeving. Het is puur genieten in Boutiquegîte5.

Wat een fijne plek, een super warm onthaal en niet alleen omdat het bloedheet was maar vooral door de geweldig gastheer. Marco is een topper, super begaand met iedereen en hij maakt een heerlijke vijgentaart voor welkoms attractie. De gites is mooi ingericht en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Tijdens 40 graden plus is de airco een uitkomst en het prachtige zwembad een must. Marco is veel in de weer met de tuin en dat is te zien. Super verzorgd allemaal. Daarnaast nog een professionele sportles gehad van Rob en ook dat was top. De omgeving is rustig en mooi. Voor uitstapjes moet je wel vaak een stuk rijden dus hou daar rekening mee. Een top plek. Between the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park and the Mediterranean Sea lie several vineyards. The vineyards in this area are considered to be among the most beautiful in France. Well-known vineyards in this area are the Minervois and the Saint-Chinian. Guides and naturalists will take you on excursions to the different vineyards and teach you all about the French wine tradition. In addition, there are various wine-tasting events in the area. Enjoy a gastronomic walk and let yourself be admired by the different vineyards. Activities
Your holiday home is situated in the middle of a beautiful walking- and cycling area. From the village there are several clearly marked walking routes with beautiful views of nature. There are many special cycle paths in the immediate surroundings, the so-called 'Voie Verte'. On the old railway line between St. Chinian and Cessenon-sur-Orb there is such a Voie Verte. It is perfectly passable for regular touring bikes and mountain bikes.
Regional nature park Haut-Languedoc is for a large part in the Hérault department and covers 145,000 hectares. The mountain range lies between the high central part and the low Mediterranean part of France. The park has a diverse landscape, consisting of lakes, gorges, valleys, mountain tops and small villages. There are also several waterfalls in the park, such as the one near Colombières-sur-Orb. A relatively unknown gorge is Gorges d'Héric. The gorge, which is carved out by the river flowing through it, offers possibilities for swimming, walking or just relaxing. If you want to go higher up, you should go to Monts de l'Espinouse. The mountain, situated in the middle of the park, is 1124 metres high and gives you a beautiful view over the park.
