The house
This recently renovated gîte and studio are centrally located in the beautiful Hérault, southern France. Located in a picturesque French village, surrounded by vineyards, not far from the Mediterranean coast, you are most welcome.
You can enjoy a warm and sunny climate all year round, walk or cycle from our front door, explore the vineyards of Languedoc Rousillon, and enjoy all the culture the Hérault has to offer.
The holiday house has 2 accommodations : a gîte of 75m2 (for 2 persons) and a studio of 30 m2 (also for 2 persons) and are both located on the ground floor of a spacious detached house. There is own private entrance for each accommodation from the outside terrace. The spacious comfortable gîte consists of a living room (lounge) with covered veranda and a very fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, spacious gas cooker, oven and microwave. A spacious hall connects the living and sleeping areas and comprises a recently renovated bedroom and bathroom in warm colours and in harmony with each other. The double bed is 180 wide and 200 long.
The cosy studio of about 30m2 has a living cum bedroom with its own kitchen and separate bathroom. The double bed is 160 wide and 200 long.
The gite and studio are surrounded by a large lush garden of 7000 m2, an outdoor swimming pool with sunny terrace equipped with sunbeds and parasols. There is also a fully equipped gym at your disposal on the private property and you can make free use of 2 electric bikes.

Hérault is a department in sunny, southern France on the Mediterranean Sea. The department is named after the river of the same name that runs through it. Located in the Occitaine region, you can enjoy lovely beaches in the department. Furthermore, there is plenty to discover in the department! Visit the famous vineyards, hike through the various nature reserves and enjoy the typical French cities such as Montpellier, Béziers and Sète. The beautiful lakes in the department are also well worth a visit. Or visit the Grotte de Glamouse, one of the most beautiful caves in the region.

Several vineyards lie between the Haut-Languedoc regional natural park and the Mediterranean Sea. The vineyards in this area are considered one of the most beautiful in France. Well-known vineyards in this area are the Minervois and Saint-Chinian vineyards. Accompanied by guides and naturalists, you can admire the different vineyards on excursions and learn all about the French wine tradition. There are also several wine tastings in the area. Enjoy a gourmet walk and be admired by the different vineyards. Whether you are a big wine connoisseur or not, the wine excursions and tastings are a unique experience you don't want to miss!
Activities
Your holiday home is in the middle of a beautiful walking and cycling area. From the village there are several clearly marked walking routes with beautiful views of nature. There are many special cycling paths in the immediate vicinity, the so-called 'Voie Verte'. There is such a Voie Verte on the old railway line between St. Chinian and Cessenon-sur-Orb. It is perfectly rideable for ordinary touring bikes and mountain bikes.
Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park is largely located in the Hérault department and covers 145,000 hectares. The mountain range lies between the high central region and the low Mediterranean region of France. The park has a diverse landscape, consisting of lakes, gorges, valleys, mountain peaks and small villages. There are also several waterfalls in the park, such as those at Colombières-sur-Orb. A relatively unknown gorge is Gorges d'Héric. Carved out by the small river flowing through it, the gorge offers opportunities for swimming, hiking or just relaxing. If you want more altitude, you should go to Monts de l'Espinouse located in the middle of the park, is 1124 metres high and gives you great views over the park.
