The house
:
In an extremely quiet area you will find this detached luxury villa " Casa Clara " which has a spacious heated swimming pool of 9 x 4 m and this on beautifully maintained and wooded private grounds of 2500m² with the necessary mood lighting for cosy evenings. The property is partially fenced.
The reception on site and any assistance during your stay is in Dutch.
Water and electricity consumption, weekly pool maintenance are included in the rent!
There is also the possibility to book optional additional services
( towel set , cot , separate children's pool , interim cleaning, ... please feel free to ask our rates in this regard )
Layout:
Through the entrance hall one enters the spacious modern living space of 56m² opening onto a spacious wooden living terrace overlooking wooded private grounds .
The kitchen is equipped with four hotplates, dishwasher, built-in oven and large refrigerator, and there is plenty of storage space. There is enough cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery for at least six people.
There are three bedrooms in the house, one of which is on the ground floor. The master bedroom also has a separate dressing room and opens onto the roof terrace.
All rooms are equipped with comfortable single beds ( box spring type ) of 80x200cm. with mattresses of 20 cm high.
Both bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) have walk-in showers and washbasins.
On the mezzanine you will find a cosy TV corner and reading area.
Outside:
There are a total of 4 spacious terraces ( 1 wooden terrace equipped with large dining table and 6 teck chairs , 1 at pool with plenty of loungers in textylene , 1 roof terrace at master bedroom with 2 deckchairs and 1 terrace at dining area ) so sun and/or shade guaranteed according to your wishes.
The separately situated south-facing and heated private pool of 4 x 9 metres is equipped with underwater lighting and covered by electrically operated roller shutter
(so safety kids can always be guaranteed)

In short, everything to let you enjoy a carefree holiday.
The garden is largely wooded and thus always creates the necessary shade.
No pets are allowed in this holiday home.

Prachtig gelegen huis met groot zwembad en enorme tuin. Veel privacy. Wat ook erg fijn is dat je meerdere terrassen hebt, zodat je bijv. ook even in je eentje ergens kunt zitten terwijl de rest van het gezin bijv. in het zwembad plonst. De omgeving is stil en in de nabije omgeving is relatief weinig toerisme. Maar wil je de drukte op zoeken, dan kan dat. Beziers en Carcassonne zijn op ca. 1 tot 2 uur rijden. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.

Heel fijn huis om te verblijven, rustig, veel groen en een fijn zwembad. Heel goede Wifi, tegenwoordig ook niet onbelangrijk.
Ontvangst bij aankomst heel vriendelijk en hartelijk en ook van te voren met het door ons zeer kort voor vertrek reserveren van de woning goed en snel contact.
Fijne omgeving, genoeg te doen, maar toch lekker rustig. In de woning veel tips voor dingen om te zien en te doen en aanraders voor diverse fijne restaurantjes.

Top villa zeer netjes en doordacht ingericht in combinatie met een zeer rustige omgeving, ideaal voor lange wandelingen of fietstochten, tenminste als je van het betere klimwerk geen schrik hebt. De jeugd apprecieert tegenwoordig een goeie wifi verbinding enorm, dit is hier zeker het geval. Verwarmd zwembad met avond/nacht verlichting die effectief werkt is een ware troef. Bart en Sophie zijn steeds bereikbaar, super vriendelijk, kortom : The Place to be .... hier komen we zeker nog terug !

Located in the region of Saint Chinian there are of course several " caves " to visit and to taste.
Nice restaurants can be found in Saint Chinian, Saint Pons, Saint Jean de Minervois, Minerve .....
Activities
Various authentic villages, rolling vineyards, picturesque restaurants are within easy reach.
to make the southern French holiday feeling complete. (Suggestion list with trips, restaurants, markets, etc ... is available)
The Mediterranean Sea with its delicious oyster farms is about 50 minutes away.
Bigger cities like Béziers and Narbonne are at 45 minutes - Carcassonne and Montpellier at 1 h 20 minutes .
Closer to home, sports enthusiasts can canoe on the Orb, go horse riding, play golf ,
Hiking (with Gorges d'Héric as the top priority) or mountain biking (rental bikes available) along the various slopes, in short, there is something for everyone ...
For shopping you can go to Saint-Chinian or Saint Pons de Thomieres, about 12 minutes away (on Thursday and Sunday mornings there is a market in Saint Chinian, on Wednesdays in Saint Pons de Thomieres).

In low season the arrival day can be determined in mutual agreement and is subject to availability.

From 30 September till the end of April electricity consumption is to be settled separately.
Additional price info and offers
There is a local taxe de sejour of 2 €/day/pers which is charged extra on rental price ( min 18 year olds are exempt )
The swimming pool is operational and heated from the fourth week of April until the end of September ( before and after in function of weather conditions ).
In the period from October to mid-April, electricity consumption is not included and is charged separately at the unit rate.
In low season the changeover day on Saturday can be deviated from, subject to availability.
