The house
This house is situated in the heart of Capestang, a lively 13th century village (on the Canal du Midi). There are several restaurants, shops and cafes just a few steps away as well as a twice weekly market.
The house is in the grounds of a large old villa but has its own private entrance and secure terrace with inflatable splashpool plus BBQ and outdoor seating. Inside there is a modern kitchen and lounge with 3 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 6 people. This house has been designed to suit guests with impaired mobility, having an external ramp and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom/wet-room suitable for wheelchair access.
It is possible to rent this house in conjunction with the main villa's Manoir and Vigneron giving capacity for a total of 24 guests. When a single guest party rents all three properties then all occupants will have access to a large gated courtyard and secluded patio garden with pool open from April to November (9x 4.5 and 1.2 deep). There is also a further BBQ, summer kitchen with drinks fridge, shower, cloakroom, table tennis and lots of teak garden furniture for relaxing. The church behind is lit at night and proves a wonderful backdrop to dinner!

The region is well known for wine production. These include Fitou (a red wine), Muscat (a sweet white wine) and Tavel (a rosé wine).
Activities
The nearby Greenway of almost 12 km, was created on the route of the old railway line which once started from Colombiers, it now connects Capestang and the Canal du Midi, to the old station of Cruzy.
