The house
If you're looking for somewhere to relax in a beautiful, quiet, rural location with your own heated, private pool and 1.5 acres of gardens, including a vegetable patch and fresh eggs from our chickens then this is your spot.
Once you've topped up your tan around our large 12 x 6m pool you can go for a bike ride in the beautiful forest opposite, play football or badminton on the grass or use the facilities of the Clubhouse (table tennis, darts, small gym or the bar). Meals can be taken on the patio outside using the gas or traditional wood bbq or inside in the fully equipped kitchen.
The master bedroom is beautifully decorated with hand finished soft furnishings and pure cotton bed linen and towels. The ensuite has its own shower, hand basin and WC. Each bathroom has its own complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can be zipped together, and its own large bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC just up the hallway.
The double height sitting room offers a place to relax, watch TV (English and French channels, multi DVDs and NetFlix access), play PlayStation or listen to music via Alexa. Two further guests can be accommodated in this room on the pull-out bed settee if required.
All curtains have blackout lining to ensure a good night's sleep and hypo-allergenic pillows.
If you need to do a little work whilst you are away there is a small desk and fast fibre internet connection available.
Pets need a holiday too so we are happy them, subject to prior approval.

Gite 31 is in a beautiful location overlooking fields and nearby countryside. The pool area is SW facing so benefits from the warm sunshine all day and provides further splendour with fantastic evening sunsets, which can be enjoyed down at The View. on slightly cooler evenings a fire pit can be lit.
There are 3 local villages all within 15 minutes drive, which offer supermarkets, bakers, butchers, petrol and banks. There are plenty of cafes dotted around the pretty market squares and Saturday morning markets are always worth the visit.
Don’t forget if you don’t want to drive and just fancy a long weekend away, we’re only 55 minutes from Toulouse airport and car rental is available at the airport.

Een heerlijke locatie waar je goed tot rust kan komen. Het huis is zeer comfortabel. Gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien.
Ook een fijn groot zwembad voor eigen gebruik. Het uitzicht bij het huis is fenomenaal! Rachel en Simon zijn super aardige eigenaren die er alles aan doen om je het naar de zin te maken. Ook kunnen kinderen zich er goed vermaken. Supermarkt is in de buurt en de omgeving is prachtig. Wij hebben hier een hele fijne week gehad, echt een aanrader!Anna K from London,
Our whole family really enjoyed our stay at Gite 31. The views are fabulous, the pool warm enough to swim in all weathers, the gite is well-equipped and the wood burner was most welcome on the cooler days. Our daughters loved the pool, the swing, the PlayStation and we enjoyed the stunning sunsets, the games and the NetFlix access. The bikes were also very well-maintained and allowed us to explore the area fully. We found some fabulous restaurants nearby and so lovely to have views of the Pyrenees on our trips out. Stayed 3 weeks in May. Rachel and Simon were lovely hosts, very nice couple, nothing too much trouble.
Beautiful gite, everything you needed. Clean and tidy, linen and towels exceptional and changed weekly. Lovely pool, unfortunately the weather let us down so didn't get as much use as we wanted.
Beautiful secure garden, our labrador loved it!!
As the weather wasn't sunbathing weather lots of place to explore, definitely need a car, but the roads were brilliant, smooth and quiet.
Would love to go back, maybe June July time to make full use of the pool, but thanks for a lovely holiday.

There are a good range of restaurants dotted around the area, many of which we have tried and tested. Whether it's a Thai takeaway, stone-based pizza or authentic French cuisine, we have details and sample menus in the Gite at your disposal.

Plenty of beautiful walks available in the Fabas Forest across the road from the Gite.

Further remarks
Upon arrival at Gite 31 you will. be offered a cooling drink, given a tour of your holiday accommodation and left to unpack. Basic sundries such as oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee, tea and washing products are provided as well as a basket of fresh produce from our garden. Further eggs and seasonal vegetables are available to buy alongside our courtesy bar which offers local wines and ice creams.
A file providing you with plenty of information on the location and facilities available is ready for your perusal in the sitting room and as we are on site permanently we can always be contacted for further details or assistance.
