The house
Domaine Casquil's gîte used to be the domaine's stable very early on.
You enter in the bright living/dining room with open kitchenette. The bathroom with shower and toilet is on the ground floor.
Via an open staircase you reach the two bedrooms, one with double bed (140x200) and one with two single beds (90x200). Both bedrooms have a fan.
A cot is available on request.
Guests of our gîte may use the various terraces, the extensive lawn with picnic table and, of course, our large 4x10-metre swimming pool with sun loungers is at your disposal (from May to September).
Ample parking is available on the premises.
The large terrace in front of the main house is for host use.
Towels are provided in the cottage. Bath towels for the pool should be brought by yourself. If you forget your bath towels or prefer to borrow them from us, you can do so for €7.50 per towel per stay.
Our two dogs roam the grounds. They are very friendly and enthusiastic.
Your hostess is half Indonesian and loves to cook. If you let us know in time, you can - by arrangement - have an authentic Indonesian or European meal cooked for you by us on a day and time you specify, consisting of a starter, main course and dessert. The cost is € 25 per person, including a bottle of wine and soft drinks.

In the Gers, also called the Tuscany of France because of its landscape and climate, mass tourism has not yet taken hold. It is a quiet region with picturesque villages, with more than 500 castles and 400 lakes. The region has the cleanest air in Europe. The Pyrenees with beautiful ski resorts and outdoor activities are about 1.5 hours' drive away.

The region is known for its Armagnac, Floc de Gascogne and foie gras.
Activities
The gîte is a 7-minute drive from Estang, where there is a delicious bakery, a vegetable stall, a butcher and a good restaurant. A 10-minute drive away is Nogaro with more shops, including a larger Carrefour supermarket. Nogaro is also home to the Paul Armagnac racing circuit. There is also a small airport with, among other things, the possibility of gliding.
In addition, the gîte is not far from nice villages and towns such as Eauze, Air-sur-l'Adour, Mont-de-Marsan, Condom or Fources.
In winter, you can ski, snowboard or cross-country ski in the Pyrenees, where beautiful ski resorts and outdoor activities can be found about 1.5 hours' drive from the gîte.
In the surrounding area, you can enjoy hiking. In the right weather, the Pyrenees with its snow-capped peaks are visible.
