The house
On the 1-hectare Domaine "Garbe" with its park garden lies this entirely recent, beautifully and luxuriously renovated gite "ARMAGNAC", equipped with fast fibre-optic WIFI internet and Viaplay, spacious bathroom, all Dutch TV channels and 2 Belgian ones. This gite has a cosy spacious living room with doors opening onto the terrace with a magnificent view over the garden, an L-shaped modern kitchen with all modern appliances, 2 spacious bedrooms on the ground floor with 2x luxury beds -Auping/adjustable- and a spacious bathroom and is located near the large swimming pool.
(The whole house is wheelchair accessible, including the terraces).
You share with the guests of the 4-6 pers. gite Aux Carosses which is further up the property and the owners of the main house, the use of the large swimming pool, the terrace with sun loungers and parasols, the large park garden and the play equipment.
One quiet pet is allowed.

Set in large grounds, the house is part of the large Maison de Maitre where an NL couple lives.
They have converted the former Armagnac warehouse and the former Coach House into 2 gites. The gite Armagnac is the smaller of the 2 but is otherwise very spacious. Pleasantly, everything is on the ground floor.
In the park-like garden, near the fruit trees and the lawn, there is a large swimming pool of 12 x 5 metres with an easy Roman stairs. The pool is shallow from the steps and runs down to 1.80 m deep. The pool is closed with a roller cover.
You share the large swimming pool with the 2 to 6 guests of the Coach House - when rented of course - and the owners (2 persons).
Around the pool is a large tiled terrace with good sun loungers and parasols. There are several barbecues.
One (quiet) pet is allowed. Surcharge is € 35 per booking.

Een geslaagde vakantie doorgebracht in de huisjes van Ria en Cyriel. Alles is aanwezig van accomodatie en de huisjes zijn piekfijn in orde, opgemaakte bedden en handdoeken ter beschikking. Echt top! Ideaal om de huisjes samen te huren met vrienden of familie. Prachtig zwembad en tuin. Heel aangename gastvrouw en gastheer.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf, huisje super gepoetst en heel compleet uitgerust, leuk ontvangst, briefje met dingen om te doen de zondag na aankomst, echt een gevoel van welkom te zijn. Fantastisch terras aan het huis met zicht op de velden , heerlijk zwembad en de eigenaars die vele leuke tips hebben uit de streek. Rustig, maar goed gelegen om de Gers te verkennen en warme eigenaars. Absolute aanrader!

Beste familie, heel hartelijk dank voor uw mooie beoordeling van de gite Armagnac en de eigenaren op domaine Garbe. Deze gite en het andere huis op dit Domaine met de naam "Aux Carosses" (het Koetshuis) kan altijd op veel terugkeerders rekenen die het ook zo naar hun zin hebben gehad.
Ria en Ceriel zorgen altijd heel goed voor hun gasten. Fijn dat u het ook zo heeft gewaardeerd!

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen gehad bij deze gastvrije mensen!
Heerlijk zwembad bijna 30 graden veel ruimte, uitzicht, mooie plaatsjes met unieke pleintjes in de buurt. Kortom perfect! Ook voor de kinderen was het een super tijd.
Restaurants, food & wine
This area has many vineyards and thus delicious wines for sale.
There are div. restaurants nearby where you can have a 3-course menu very affordably (often under 21 euros).
Activities
The Gers region has many beautiful old villages with picturesque scenes.
You can visit Roman excavations but also Roman games are organised in the summer.
There are also numerous markets, not only in the morning, but also in the evening. You can even sit down at long tables for a delicious meal.
In a folder you will find many brochures about what you can do in the area and of course you can also visit the tourist office for the latest information.

Further remarks
You will be welcomed on the day of arrival (Saturday) from 16.00 by the very cordial NL owner.
Departure/changeover day is always Saturday. In the early and late season this may be deviated from.
Advantageous package: The rental always includes made beds, bath towels, kitchen linen and even the final cleaning is included.
The deposit is € 150 and will be returned in cash on departure if everything is found to be in order at the final inspection.
Special: If you are disabled and need care, an A and B nurse can provide that care, after consultation and for a fee. In the bathroom there are brackets and handles around toilet and shower, folding; terraces are easily accessible, house is well passable.
