The house
Flat La Cigale - 6 people, 92 m2
La Cigale: Three separate bedrooms. One large bedroom of 29 m2 with sitting room and TV, two bedrooms of 13 m2, one with two single beds. Modern bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Large fully equipped kitchen (25 m2) on the ground floor overlooking the 800 m2 private garden. Direct access to the swimming pool.
Linen is provided and you have the option of doing your own washing. WiFi connection, private parking and woodland, stone swimming pool in pretty garden with games areas such as table tennis, pétanque, beach soccer and volleyball, and a gym are all at your disposal. Breakfast and table d'hôtes available.
Mas de la Rivoire is situated between Nîmes and Montpellier, the seaside and the Cévennes. The Mas offers you:
5 fully-equipped gîtes and 3 charming chambres d'hôtes. A beautiful medieval courtyard, a vaulted room with a Nespresso/The corner and a library. A gym (classes available). A lovely garden with a counter-current swimming pool, beach volleyball court, table tennis, summer games and two ponies for our little ones, private parking and wifi. We also organise - breakfasts and table d'hôtes, BBQ hire, - hiking and mountain bike hire, - wine tasting, - sailing trips, - horse riding, - tennis and golf, - canoeing for all the family, - relaxing massages, etc. -
We also organise/rent out our Mas for events such as weddings/anniversaries, or we can rent it out to groups, with accommodation for up to 28 people.

The Mas has private parking, a sunny garden with swimming pool and terraces, and a private wood for a picnic in the shade.
The setting is ideal for nature and beach lovers. There are many cultural and leisure activities in the area. The Mas is located just a few minutes from the medieval village of Sommières with its pedestrian streets, shops and friendly terraces.
In the surrounding area there are many villages not to be missed. For example, you can visit St Guilhem le Désert or the Gorges de l'Hérault during your stay.
Within a 50 minute drive you can also visit Uzès, Nîmes, Montpellier, Avignon or Arles.
The white sandy beaches of Montpellier and La Grande Motte are only 20 minutes away.
Also nearby: the Camargue and the Cévennes.

Once a week, we invite you to share our table d'hôtes.
Behind the mas, there is a forest with plenty of places to picnic or relax. On request, we can prepare a picnic basket for you.
Sommières has many restaurants and friendly terraces.
If you wish, you can take advantage of the breakfast served every morning in the courtyard (10 euros per person).
And of course, there are a number of Domaines Viticoles offering wine tastings.
At the Saturday market, you can sample local oysters accompanied by a good local white wine. When the weather permits, we organise barbecues.
Activities
Directly around the Mas, you will be able to walk or mountain bike on the many footpaths. Bicycles can be hired on request.
We also work with a horse riding centre and can organise individual or group rides. What better way to discover the surroundings.
In the area, you can also canoe on the Hérault or play tennis in Sommières.
The sea and the beach are not far away...you can swim, dive, fish or sail.

- The prehistoric village of Fontbouisse.
- Sommières with its Saturday morning market and traditional festivals.
- The castle of Villevieille.
- Nîme with its square house and its arena where many events are organised in summer.
- The village of Beaux de Provence.
