The house
Our cosy gîte for 4 people is housed in the former magnanerie of our old, restored mas, le Mas des Sages. A private entrance through the garden and a stone staircase lead to the first level, with a large living room with open kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. On the second level are 2 nice bedrooms, one with a 160x200 bed and one with 2 or 3 90x200 beds. The whole is about 75 m2, with full comfort and air conditioning.
Downstairs in the garden there is a table and chairs for eating and sitting outside, a barbecue and a ping-pong table. And, of course, access to the pool. The pool is shared with our other gîte (sleeps 8) but there is enough space for everyone, even in this period of sanitary measures.
We have also recently installed a charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Aubussargues is an authentic Gallo-Roman village. It lies a bit remote, with only some local passage. Surrounded by woods and vineyards, it is rural and there are many possibilities for walking and cycling.
Ideally situated between the Cévennes, Provence and Camargue, Uzès, Nîmes, Arles, Alès, Anduze and Avignon are easily accessible for unforgettable experiences. And the Pont du Gard of course, an absolute must.

There are plenty of vineyards and wine cellars around here! The wines of the Duché d'Uzès, les Costières de Nîmes, Languedoc, are there to be discovered and enjoyed. Culinary there is plenty for everyone : from a small snack to a gastronomic dinner, a nice little terrace or a beautiful castle, choice enough !
Activities
Aubussargues is a quiet authentic southern French village, at 10 minutes distance from Uzès, a historic town with much to see and do. The Pont du Gard should not be missed, and also Nîmes and Arles are rich in Roman history. Apart from monuments and museums, there are many other activities: walking, cycling, mountain climbing, canoeing, swimming in the Gardon, horse riding, golf, to name but a few.
In the middle of the Languedoc wine region, there are many wine cellars to visit in and around Aubussargues. And there are also plenty of nice restaurants and terraces to enjoy.

Further remarks
There are no shops in our little village, but plenty of choice in Uzès (10 minutes away). You will also find bakery, pharmacy, small grocer about 3 km away.
It is also possible to have deliveries, through the supermarket Carrefour in Uzès.
