The house
Large holiday home in an old authentic southern French mas for 8 with garden and swimming pool in the Mas des Sages.
On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge. On the 1st floor, 4 bedrooms : 2 spacious double bedrooms each with a bathroom and WC, and a family room consisting of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and WC. All rooms overlook the garden, in an atmosphere of comfort and authenticity!
On the terrace in the garden, tables and chairs and, of course, a barbecue. A ping-pong table is also available. The swimming pool is shared with our other gîte (for 4 people) but there is enough space for everyone, even in this period of sanitary measures.
We have also recently installed a charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Aubussargues is a Gallo-Roman village, surrounded by vineyards and garrigues. At 10 minutes distance from Uzès, where there is a lot to do, if only the famous market on Saturday morning. The Pont du Gard is a must, where the river Gardon and a beautiful natural environment await you. The Cévennes begin at Alès, some 25 km from us, and Camargues, to the south, are also within easy reach. Nîmes and Arles offer you the history of the Roman period. Lots to do and discover !

Here you are in the middle of the Languedoc vineyards with the many wine cellars. In Aubussargues itself there are 2 "caves", and in the surrounding villages many more.
It is also possible to visit the olive oil mills, or "les moulins d'huile d'olive".
Our region is more than rich in culinary experiences with nice and tasty restaurants, which offer tapenade, brandade and other local food. And in the summer months, there are plenty of fruits and vegetables sold along the roads by produce growers.
Activities
Aubussargues is a small, quiet village, surrounded by forest and vineyards, at 10 min. distance from Uzès. The Pont du Gard, Alès, Nîmes, Arles, Avignon, are easy to reach and there is a lot to do. Apart from nature, museums, wine cellars, nice restaurants, you can enjoy many sportive activities here: canoeing, cycling, hiking, mountaineering, karting, golf, via ferrata, to name but a few...
