The house
Polfages is ideal if you just want to sit by the pool and relax taking in the stunning views or if you want to make the most of your time in the region. With the beach and the mountains just over an hour away you can truly get the best of both types of holiday. An easy drive to Carcassonne and Toulouse and 15 minutes to the historic town of Mirepoix. Polfages comprises 3 individual gites sleeping up to 14 people in total, allowing our guests space to be together and also giving then their own private space in the evening should the so wish.
Each gites has it's own fully fitted kitchen and outdoor space and all bedrooms can be arrange with either a double or 2 singles beds.

Domaine de Polfages is somewhere that my family and I think of as truly special. Every time I walk the dogs or just sitting and take in the views I realizes how lucky we are.
From the views that stretch away into the forever distance to the clean pure air that comes from the stunning Pyrenees. Taking the in the silence of the countryside to watching the hawks spiraling upwards into the clear blue sky.
Polfages really is where the Mountains meet the Sea and there is a world of things to do in between to suit everyone. At Polfages you really are able to have the best of all worlds. From sitting by the pool relaxing with stunning views and tranquility while recharging your batteries to being able to visit some of the most historic sites, towns and castles in all of France. Learn about the history of the Cathars and how the Canal du Midi was built joining the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. If you would like to include mountains activities in your holiday then the Pyrenees are only 45 minutes away, or in just over an hour you can spend time on the Mediterranean beaches.

Echt genoten, eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk. Ik had alleen graag vooraf geweten ivm gedrag van de hond dat de eigenaren ook op het terrein wonen met honden. Al zijn deze honden echt de allerliefste die ik ooit heb gezien. Totaal geen aandacht voor mijn bange hond dus was een goede training. Huisje heeft echt wel achterstallig onderhoud, zo zonde. Kranen die niet goed werken, deuren die niet op slot kunnen, vaatwasser die half kapot was, plank in de koelkast kapot. Je betaald een hoop geld en dan mag dit wel in orde zijn. Maar ik zou zo weer terug gaan. Het uitzicht is uniek, de rest die je daar ervaart ook. Aan de eigenaren kan je alles vragen. Heel vriendelijk en heel relaxed. Wij hebben een blaffer die graag rond het zwembad rent al blaffend (wisten wij niet) maar was geen probleem. Onze hond heeft hierdoor ook echt genoten. Er was ook zoveel te doen in de omgeving dus we moeten gewoon nog eens terug

Wat een ruimte, prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad.
De eigenaren zijn enorm hartelijk en gastvrij.
Wij waren aanwezig met 8 kinderen en 2 honden, maar deze mensen hebben er alleen maar van genoten.
