There are many herbs around the house, you can use them freely; mint to make tea, pick lavender and put the seeds in a bag under your pillow, put your own flowers from the garden in the vase, pick fruits when they are ripe and enjoy nature.
The 24m² swimming pool is bordered by a terrace with 4 loungers, even from the pool you can see for miles and have views of the Montagne Noir.
From the living room, you enter the shaded covered terrace of 56m² with several seating areas and a 2-person sauna.
Here again, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the sunlit Minervois valley.
On this terrace is a mobile outdoor kitchen with deep fryer, griddle and BBQ.
There are two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double box-spring bed 200 x 160 cm.
The other bedroom has two single box-spring beds 200 x 90 cm.
Bathroom with sink and walk-in shower and washing machine.
There is a spacious living and dining room with wood-burning stove and an open kitchen with combi-grill oven, exta microwave/combi grill oven, induction hob with 4 zones, dishwasher and all necessary electrical kitchen appliances.
There is a second toilet in the hallway.
Planquefer is wheelchair accessible, has no thresholds and is tastefully decorated with artists' work.
If you want to be creative, there is a separate studio where you can paint, draw or write, there are writing books, an easel and drawing paper, pencils and chalk.
There is an Atelier with a cinema with lovely theatre seats, wide-screen monitor, DVD playback equipment and hundreds of DVDs.
Also part of the Atelier is an Nvlr library with many books; a nice place to read.
Our house offers a place to visitors who want to respectfully experience the beauty of nature and culture of the Languedoc.
Planquefer has 250 sunny days a year and is surrounded by the Garrigue, with birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects and flowers.
You are in the region of the Cathars, with historic castle ruins, old Romanesque churches and monasteries, hushed medieval villages with squares and terraces under the plane trees.
Lovely markets on Tuesdays in Olonzac and Wednesdays in Lezignan.
Cycling along Canal du midi, fishing in the Aude, swimming at Narbonne Plage in the Mediterranean.
Every village has a restaurant, where you can eat cheaply and well at lunchtime.
Visit the locks of Fonseranes, the Cathedral in Béziers and the ancient Cathar city of Carcassonne.
Also visit Narbonne with its beautiful town hall and medieval cathedral.
In Planquefer there is a lot of documentation on the region and for the hiker a folder with descriptions and maps of fifty walks in the Languedoc.

There is a spring that supplies water to the pool and irrigates the garden.
