The house
Le Moulin is a characterful one bedroom Gite on two floors, with some original internal stone walls.
Ground floor
Kitchen – includes a four ring gas hob, microwave and fridge.
First floor
Sitting/dining room – a spiral staircase takes you to this spacious open plan area which includes a dining table and four chairs, a two seated sofa and very large sofa bed. There is also a TV, DVD player and CD player/Radio. Broadband WIFI is available in this Gite.
Bedroom – has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets and a chair.
Shower room – a light and airy room, but only accessible through the bedroom. This includes a shower, WC, handbasin and heated towel rail/heater.
Outside there is a fully furnished patio which includes a gas barbecue.

Twenty minutes from Carcassonne and a ten-minute walk into the historic medieval village of Caunes-Minervois with its Vineyards, Restaurants, Bars and Shops (Supermarket, Butcher, Bakery Pharmacy) & 9th century Abbey as well as a host of local artists, art galleries and artisans Au Pont Romain is the perfect place to enjoy all that Aude and the south of France has to offer.

A 10-minute walk to the beautiful medieval village of Caunes-Minervois will take you to a wealth of local restaurants which suit every taste and budget. The local restaurants offer everything from classic French cuisine, Tapas, regional delicacies, and delicious homemade pizzas, all made with fresh seasonal ingredients. Wine domains abound in the area so you can sample many local wines both from Caunes and the wider area.
Activities
We are ideally situated close to walking and hiking trails, the area is also popular with cyclists, bikers and car clubs. There is a lake with water sports activites 30 minutes away and the Mediterranean is an hours drive. There are also lots of historic sites to visit within an hours drive.
