The house
The holiday home is a large 200 m² house that can accommodate up to 10 people. You enter through a front garden where there is a barbecue for summer evenings.
At the back of the house you will find a garden full of roses, herbs and hydrangeas and a swimming pool (width: 4 m ; depth: 1.2 m). In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset.
The ground floor is divided as follows: a large kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a utility room, a toilet and a lounge that can also be used as an extra bedroom if desired (double bed - 160cm).
The first floor has:
- a large bedroom measures a double bed (140cm), a private bathroom (bath and toilet), a dressing room, a fireplace and a covered terrace,
- three smaller bedrooms: two with a double bed (140cm and 120cm on a mezzanine) and one with two single beds,
- a bathroom (bath and shower) and a toilet.

The Belcastel domain is situated in the Aude, on the edge of the Corbières, in the South of France.
The domain consists of a large building (our own house and a holiday home) and more than 130 hectares of land where a herd of sheep and small Scottish cows graze. We have all kinds of nice animals: sheep and lambs, cows and calves, and a donkey, chickens, but also a sweet dog and a nice cat. The domain is located in the heart of Cathar country and is only an hour from the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, 30 minutes from Carcassonne and 15 minutes from Limoux, a small but beautiful town.

Een zeer fijn huis in een rustige omgeving. Echt een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Vriendelijke en behulpzame ontvangst. Echt een familiehuis waar we met 8 personen enorm van hebben genoten. Voldoende ruimte voor iedereen!

Markets with a special atmosphere: Mirepoix (Monday mornings), Limoux (Friday mornings) and Espéraza (Sunday mornings).
Nice places to swim: lakes of Arques and Montbel, rivers like le Lauquet and l'Orbieu, or the thermal baths of Rennes-les-Bains.
Numerous walks: Pic de Bugarach, val d'Agne, canal du Midi and of course many beautiful mountain walks in the Pyrenees.
