The house
in the valley of the river Lez , part of the Bellongue lies the village of Engomer . Coming from St Girons , this gite is located behind the first house of the village , 100 metres from the road , along the footpath that runs throughout the valley and offers long walks
The gite was originally a mobile home but has been extended with an enlargement of the living room into a flat of 30 m2 that benefits from wide views with its large windows . The terrace doors can disappear completely into the wall so that the living room extends into the terrace .
Allow for a mobile-home ceiling height in the kitchen and bathroom of 1.95 m . The living room has a normal height.
The route departemental runs through Engomer so there is a lot to do: a café/restaurant , a grocer , a cheesemonger , a brewer and a post office , Sunday market

The Bellongue Valley lies at the foot of the high peaks of the Pyrenees. The surrounding hills rise from 800m to 1200m . Further to the west it ends in the col portet d Aspet , so already higher. An ideal area for cyclists and walkers. The road here is often part of the Tour de France. For hikes in the high mountains, the mont Valier and the col de Core are a fifteen minute drive away. And these are only a few examples of the fantastic possibilities that this region offers.

Wij hebben genoten op dit heerlijke stekje met veel ruimte en groen om je heen. Ook een leuk plekje voor wie van vogels kijken houdt. Mooi hoe er van een 'gewone' stacaravan een knus en leuk ingericht huisje is gemaakt. Prettig contact met de verhuurder met ook goede aandacht voor voldoende privacy. De poes komt af en toe gezellig buurten als je haar aandacht geeft. Ze is heel goed opgevoed, zet geen stap over de drempel. Al met al hadden wij heel fijne dagen hier.

Fantastisch! Zeer prettig en mooi ingericht huisje. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook op warme dagen dankzij de luifels en horren goed vertoeven. Prachtige en rustige omgeving. Aangenaam om direct vanuit het verblijf te kunnen wandelen of met de prima fietsen er op uit te gaan. Heerlijke week gehad! Hans en Mien
