Surroundings
The house is very quietly situated amidst vineyards and fields. The hilly landscape reminds one of Tuscany. The hamlet of Savignac-de-Duras is at 1 km. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be.
The bastide town of Duras is 5 kilometres away: here you can go for your daily shopping, the weekly market, cosy terraces and restaurants.
The region around Savignac-de-Duras has a lot to offer: a visit to the various villages and bastide towns such as Eymet, Monpazier, Monflanquin and Villaréal, the castle and museums of Duras, the vineyards and wine estates of the Côtes de Duras, , golf, or canoeing on the Dordogne or the Dropt.
Those who wish to drive a little further can visit St. Foy la Grande, situated on the Dordogne (20 kilometres), Bergerac (35 kilometres) and the medieval city of Saint-Emilion (40 kilometres). A visit to the region of the Dordogne and Perigord Noir with its many castles, caves and picturesque towns such as Sarlat is definitely recommended.
You can also make trips to cities such as Bordeaux (95km), the Atlantic coast and the Bassin d'Arcachon with, among others, the Dune de Pilat (highest dune in Europe), (140km).

Reviews
Familie Janssen from Amsterdam,
Een echte aanrader!allard from France,
