The house
This beautiful, totally renovated traditional stone built farmhouse/cottage dates back to 1862 and offers a perfect self-contained family holiday.
The ground floor which has exposed beams throughout, contains a large lounge area with settees and chairs and with both UK Freesat and French TV, a DVD player and an I-pod docking station. There is a large beautifully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave and all the crockery and utensils you would need for dining inside and out.
Also downstairs is a large bathroom consisting of a shower, handbasin and wc.
The 1st floor contains 2 kingsize bedrooms and a double bedroom all with plenty of furniture for clothing.
Also upstairs is another bathroom with a full size bath with overhead shower, a separate shower in a cubicle, handbasin and wc.

Caday Rouge is in the hamlet of Saint Vite, set amongst fruit farms in rural France near Fumel, which is in the Lot et Garonne, the Aquitaine area of South West France. Immediately behind us is the famous River Lot, famous of its fabulous fishing.

This region is known as "”la cuisine de la france” France's kitchen. Some of the products the Lot et Garonne is known for are foie gras, nuts/nut oil, truffles, duck dishes, cêpes and morilles. There are many restaurants in the area where you will find a variety of local dishes at very reasonable prices.
Activities
Caday Rouge has the most wonderfully large, heated saltwater swimming pool, so even if the weather isn't playing ball, it certainly won't stop play! We also have a small assortment of inflatables for the pool as well as games, DVD's and books for all.
We have many national cycling and hiking routes around us and we have some bicycles for rent.
Caday Rouge is also situated in a perfect location to many activities for families and catering to all ages from infant to adults.
We are just 12 kms from Bonaguil, 50 kms from Cahors and 60 kms from Bergerac Airport

The cottage is situated in a peaceful, tranquil area where privacy and quality are very important to us. There is plenty of parking here and seating areas with many chairs and loungers for your relaxation and comfort.
