The cottage was completely renovated in 2024 in local country style, using as many natural materials as possible.

- Living room with two comfortable chairs and a (sofa bed) with a very large panoramic window, ideal for enjoying the beautiful views of the french valley. The sofa bed has a 140x200cm mattress
- Shaded terrace facing east, pleasant even in mid-summer, adjacent to the house, ideal for outdoor dining and enjoying the view

From the cottage you overlook the valley where you live. Woodland and farmland alternate with a village here and there.
The meadow next to the house is mowed once a year, in general there is little noise, but of course a tractor passes by now and then and the surrounding farmland is tilled.
In summer, there are many sunflower fields to admire.

Restaurants, food & wine
The south-west of France is known for its gastronomy :
There are many delicious local cheeses to taste.
There is good wine : our neighbour is a winemaker and sells 'a la ferme', a few hundred metres away, ideal !
Fresh local vegetables with real flavour, especially the tomatoes are delicious
The region is also famous for dishes such as 'magret de canard' (duck breast)
There are plenty of good restaurants to choose from, we will be happy to advise you !
Activities
You can walk and cycle (electric bike recommended) from the cottage: ideal for exploring nature and the surrounding villages. The area is also great for mountain biking with several marked routes.
There are several villages nearby with the label 'plus beau village de France', between 15-45 minutes driving distance : Pujols, Penne d'Agenais, Monflanquin, Villereal, Tournon d'Agenais.
The larger town in the region, Agen, is a 20-minute drive away. There is also plenty to see in Villeneuve sur Lot, a 15-minute drive away.
Agen is home to the Walligator amusement park and the Aqualand water park.
You can also rent a boat or stand-up paddle board at the Lot River, in Castelmoron, 10 minutes away. At this location, there is also a nice sandy beach next to the river with a bar.
The river Lot is famous for fishing, carp fishing being among the most popular.
From the beginning of July to the end of August, there is a night market every evening somewhere in the neighbourhood where you can eat local dishes and where there is often live music, enjoying the sunset.
There are also several good restaurants in the area, we will be happy to advise you.
For people who like flying: 10 minutes away is a small airport for sport planes and hang-gliders where also an initiation in the sport can be given.
