Chez Jan et Nicole - Gite Toulouse

Natural fishing, as there are huge and big fish in the Lot. Night fishing from the jetty is allowed and we can arrange a fishing licence for you. We have two new electric bicycles for rent, with which you can make beautiful trips in the area.
Every day of the week there is a weekly market somewhere in the neighbourhood within a few km.
In the immediate vicinity are several nice museums such as Musée du Foie Gras, Musée des Prunes, and a little further away Musée du Miel and Musee du Chocolat. Not to mention the "world-famous" water lily garden Latour-Marliac, to be found 800 metres from the gite.
Short or longer trips can be made to nearby castles, public gardens, caves and small amusement parks. Every trip means another beautiful drive through the very varied landscape.
In July and August, there is a summer market with music, the "Gourmand", every day. Behind stalls, various producers sell their own products such as bread, wine, cheese, roast chicken, salads, chips and sausages, snails, foie gras and much more, but you can also feel free to bring your own food/drink. Everyone sits there cosily side by side eating, drinking and chatting at long wooden tables and it's all very informal.
The gite is located directly on the River Lot and offers many water sports facilities, such as rowing, water-skiing and canoeing. And, of course, you can hire our 8-metre cabin boat1
For those who love golf: there are several golf courses nearby, including the 18-hole Castelnaud golf course (20 minutes) with pro shop and good restaurant. Tombeboeuf (also 20 minutes) has a challenging 9-hole course. And, if you are willing to drive a little longer, there are quite a few more beautiful courses.
Almost all towns have an Office de Tourisme, where ample information and leaflets are available, but we also put as much great info as possible in the gite.
