Gite Buchanan

Gite Buchanan is situated just outside the quiet village of La Croix-Blanche in the Lot-et-Garonne. The accommodation comprises of 2 double bedrooms, a lounge/kitchen diner and a large bathroom. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible, to clients, free of charge. There is a tiled terrace with hot tub, patio furniture and BBQ. There is also a petanque court located in the orchard. Petanque balls and jack can be provided. Towards the rear of the property you will find a badminton net; rackets and shuttlecocks will be provided. In the near future there will be a gym in the cellar, with access from the outside. It will contain a vibrating plate, rowing machine, stepper and excercise bike. We will provide you with cleaning products, tea towels, bed linen and bath towels. You will also have the use of an iron and ironing board. Distilled water, for the iron, is provided. Should you need to do any washing of clothing you will find a public laundry in nearby Foulayronnes. Agen is 14 km south from La Croix Blanche. Villeneuve-sur-Lot is 16 km north from the property. The nearest airport is Agen La Garenne Airport. Also within travelling distance there is Bergerac airport to the north and Toulouse airport to the south. There is plenty to see in the region. Agen, the administrative centre, has a main railway link. The city is traversed by the River Garonne. Villenueve, to the north, is a medieval town with the River Lot running through it. There are many pavement bars and restaurants to people watch. Also, to the north, you will find the picturesque medieval village of Pujols, perched on the top of a mount. You will find 14th century buildings and houses which are still inhabited.
