This attractive gite is suitable for up to 4 people, with privacy and comfort being the watchwords.

The gite is practical and is furnished as follows;
- spacious living room.
- a large kitchen with all amenities.
- Furthermore, this cottage has 2 bedrooms with the 1st bedroom a double bed 180 cm wide and the 2nd bedroom 2 single beds 2x 90cm wide.
- Of course there is also a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
- This cottage also has a spa where you can relax and enjoy the view.
Finally! There is a terrace at both the front and the back of the gite. This allows you to decide at any time of day whether you want shade or sun with, of course, different views.
There is a swimming pool for general use. The pool has a diameter of 6.5 metres and is 1.30 deep.

Het was heerlijk vertoeven in dit mooie huisje, met eigen jacuzzi, ruime kamers, overkapping, een zwembad en een super mooi uitzicht! Een echte aanrader als je van de rust wilt genieten en de Franse dorpjes. De gastheer Vincent en zijn vriendin Marianne zijn zeer gastvrijheid en maakten mijn verblijf nog fijner. Een echte aanrader!!

Wat hebben wij de afgelopen week genoten in 'van Gogh'!
We werden gastvrij onthaald en voelden ons erg welkom.
De sfeer, het uitzicht, het zwembad, de rust, de prachtige zonsondergang vanuit 'onze' privé-spa.... een klein paradijsje in het grote Frankrijk.
Dit alles tezamen met de mogelijkheid om de gezellige dorpjes in de omgeving te bezoeken maakt dit adres tot een echte aanrader.Kittie en Henk from Purmerend,
Schitterende huisje met alles er op en eraan. Vooral het uitzicht op het terras met de ondergaande zon.
Vincentvis een goede gastheer die zorgt dat het je aan niets ontbreekt.
Mooi zwembad en bij je huisje je eigen jacuzzi bij je terras en elke dag vers stokbrood kortom het was een fantastische week. We komen zeker graag nog een keer terug
Restaurants, food & wine
The gite is not far from the vineyards of Bergerac, Bordeaux, Duras and Cahors. There are several wine Chateaux that you can visit. In Bergerac there is a wine museum and a winery where you can taste and buy wine.
In the gite you will find a list of restaurants in the surrounding villages.
Furthermore, the famous "Foi gras", the duck or goose liver, is for sale in various places and markets.
Every day there is a weekly market somewhere. The one on Sunday morning in Issigeac is worth a visit.
There are also several evening markets where you can eat local dishes.
Activities
From Dozains you can visit the bastide towns in the area: a.o. Monpazier,Villeréal,Castillonnès.Monflaquin But also the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are just a stone's throw away.
You can also make a larger tour to medieval cities such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors.
From May to September, various markets, feasts and festivals are held in the region. In July and August there is a food market in Villereal on Monday evening and on Tuesday evening a "food market" in Eymet.
Every Sunday there is a nice market in Issigeac.
For the children there are several amusement parks in the area. a.o. Walibi-parc in Agen, Survival-parc in La Capelle-Biron.
Golf course 9 holes in Tombeboeuf +- 20 km. 18 holes in Castelnaud -+19 km.
Horse riding in Lougratte, there is also a recreational lake --10 km.
There are several marked walks, ranging from 5 to 20 km.
There are also routes for cycling.these can be downloaded on clycling in lot et Garonne (www.routeyou.com).
Canoeing is possible on the Lot, Dordogne and Vezere.

Further remarks
In March, April and October the changeover days are also possible on other days, so you might have the possibility to fly from Rotterdam to Bergerac.

Pool towels should be brought by yourself.
There is a deposit of €150 per stay, to be paid together with the 2nd instalment of the rental in advance.
The deposit will be refunded to the guest's bank account within 7 days after deduction of any damages.
Dogs are allowed for a fee of €5 per day per dog.
Tourist tax €1,90 per person per night. From 18 years of age.
