The house
Are you looking for a real French holiday home with a beautiful view in a quiet environment? Then Gîte Lafurette is for you. The cottage is situated halfway up a hill in a small hamlet, with beautiful views over a valley. It is situated in the Perigord in the hilly landscape of Dordogne, Lot and Lot-et-Garonne. Downstairs is within walking distance an attractive lake (Lac du Marou) with small beaches, where you can swim and fish (see album).
The house is beautifully situated in the hilly landscape between Dordogne and Lot with forests, streams and open fields. The house is typical French, built of French natural stone with a pigeonnier that has been converted into a spacious bathroom. Furthermore, it consists of a living room with open kitchen, a bedroom and a separate guest room. The living room has access through sliding doors to a beautiful garden with terraces. The entrance is on a romantic court, shaded by a beautiful flowering Albizia. The house adjoins a larger house that is not occupied during your stay, but whose grounds and facilities are at your disposal (furniture, BBQ, parasols etc.) Pets are also welcome.
At 2 Km distance there is a nice village (Cuzorn) with a good restaurant with terrace above a river (La Lémance). At 7 Km is a larger town on the river Lot (Fumel) with all amenities of a large town, such as 3 supermarkets.

Reviews
Rob den Dulk from Beneden-Leeuwen,
Laura Smeitink from Groessen,
Monique Oosterwijk from Bilthoven,
