The house
The gîte la Rivière is part of a charming manor house called Les Séchoirs dating from 1780. Its riverside location is truly unique and offers plenty of space. The gîte has a private jetty with a motorboat and a large riverside terrace, where you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of the river.
The gite la Rivière is detached gîte that is currently being renovated. Work will be completed in January 2024. The image of the outside is not yet complete because a terrace roof (5 x 3.5 metres) will be installed. The image of the inside shows how the layout on the ground floor will be. When renovation is complete, the pictures will be updated.
The gîte features a spacious living and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and microwave. There is also a television for extra comfort. On the ground floor there is a spacious double bedroom and a luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet: On the first floor you will find two large double bedrooms. The gite also has a large covered terrace with a bbq.

Les Séchoirs is located in the beautiful area called Lot et Garonne, in the heart of Aquitaine and within a short drive you will find all kinds of historical and picturesque sights. The gites are just 300 metres from the nearest supermarket and pharmacy. The centre of historic town Clairac is just a 10-minute walk away. Here you will find shops, cafés, a bank, another pharmacy, bakery, hairdressers and a number of restaurants, among the beautifully maintained 16th-century buildings. There is also a beautiful sandy beach in Clairac.
The gites are located in the beautiful Lot valley and close to the three airports:

Activities
The lovely swimming pool overlooks the Lot and you will also find a large covered terrace and sun loungers. There are also two large tobacco barns (Sechoirs) on the property where you can store bicycles or fishing equipment. One of the tobacco barns has a common room with table tennis, pool table and a sitting area with a large collection of books. In the park-like garden there is also a petanque court, trampoline and football goals.
