The house
The Gîte is attached to our house, but gives enough privacy.
A private parking space right next to the gîte, and at the front the front door and 2 windows with shutters, which are also often closed in summer to keep the lovely coolness in the house.
Across the street is a picnic patio, with several bbqs to use.
When using please place on the pebbles.
At the back of the garden, is the hammock, the canvas is in the stairs, where there is also a parasol and some folding chairs.
Also if you want to take a trip, for example to the beautiful Lac de Vassivière, feel free to bring it.
Bath towels are there too.
And lots of books!!!
Feel free to start in 1, still not out when you leave?
Take it home as a souvenir.
In the house is everything to have a pleasant stay.
Good pans. fine coffee maker and coffee!
And also a kettle with different kinds of tea.
Also there is some pasta, rice, soup, jam, oil, and some small things like foil bags etc,
Our house has a Septic tank, through which only pee, poo and water goes.
So no grease and food leftovers, please use kitchen rolls for this and throw in the rubbish.
Wet toilet paper is not allowed either.
Plastic and cans can be kept separately in a bucket, in a bag. When full, place it in the green crate outside.
We will make sure it goes to the right separate waste collection point.
Plastic and glass bottles should also be placed in the green crate.
The house has plenty of bedding, towels, bathrobes and slippers and nice products from Rituals to use.
Enjoy it, it is your holiday after all!

Surroundings
We live in Rebeyrolle, a hamlet outside the village of Sussac.
We have about six neighbours, slightly more in summer.
It is wonderfully quiet.
You do sometimes hear the Limousin cows, and a few buzzards.
- Mountainous
Restaurants, food & wine
There is a wine festival every week in summer!
I try to keep up with the information, but the tourist shop in Eyemoutiers has all the info!
Activities
Many cyclists, from regular to mountain bikes, many hikers, and recently a popular route for horse riding.
Nearby, lots of small villages, lots of greenery and of course the Limousin cows.
In terms of shopping, Eymoutiers is a nice little town, with a very nice market on Saturday mornings, when all the local producers come with their cheeses, sausages, flowers, vegetables and fruit.
A 40 min drive away is Lac de Vassievière with all kinds of water sports, and of course lovers of a book and some sunshine.
Limoges is 50 min away, where all the big supermarkets are, just outside the city.
In the centre there are many nice shops, not to mention very good restaurants.
And no, not all French ;-)
We live very remote so that should appeal to you, the following villages are at ca.18 min drive, where very good and inexpensive supermarkets are.
- Bicycle
- Near hiking trails
- Near riding
- Fishing
