The house
A very spacious holiday home with al mod coms. Spacious luxurious bath room with separate shower and roll top bath. Large comfortable box spring beds. A big kitchen with all necessary appliances such as oven, dishwasher but also handmixers and other equipments which might be handy. Complete with Nespresso coffee maker.
Your will enjoy the stylishly decorated living room with large dining table and wood burner for cosy dinners with friends or family. There is free Wifi.
What could be nicer than starting your holiday in a holiday home where the beds are made and there are plenty of towels ready for you? This is of course included in the rental price.

Lys d'Avril is the name of our beautiful six hectares large domain in a charming and picturesque hamlet in the small village of Glanges. You can truly enjoy your holiday here in a stylish and luxuriously decorated holiday home and a trendy Barn Apartment surrounded by beautiful nature.
Glanges is located in the most southern tip of the Haute Vienne Sud, just a few kilometres north of Dordogne and Correze, between Limoges and Brives la Gaillarde.
The one hectare large garden, with its many flowers, is completely fenced and has all the possibilities to fully relax. It has a salt water pool which you share with our other guests. In the immediate surroundings you can make wonderful walks, we have our own private wood of 2 hectares. There is a restaurant in Glanges and 6 kilometres from us is Magnac-Bourg which has all amenities such as several restaurants, a supermarket, a baker's and a chemist's.
Our holiday homes are spacious and luxurious which comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Together with the stylish and complete furnishings they will ensure a wonderful holiday!

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de stijlvolle Barn bij Eric en Monique. Het huis is prachtig, met een fijne slaapkamer, mooie badkamer en zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Het uitzicht en de tuin zijn fenomenaal en het zwembad is fijn om even op te frissen. Het is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Ook het contact met Eric en Monique is prettig.

magnifiques gites rénovés avec beaucoup de gout par les propriétaires dans un hameau haut viennois non loin de lioges , segur le chateau , uzerche , pompadour , le plateau des millevaches , brive ........... à notre arrivée ,tout avait été préparé (chauffage , lits , serviettes , buches et pelets pour les cheminées ). idéal pour 2 familles enfants ou pour groupe (4 couples) . nous avons beaucoup aimé .

Restaurants, food & wine
Limousin is of course well known for its Limousin beef which you can see grazing in the fields. They are kept in herds, complete with bulls, cows and calves, on meadows which are surrounded by woodland.
This is not all the region has to offer though. Well known are also Limousin apples, the only variety in France which has the AOC indication to guarantee origin and quality of the product. Other types of fruit are also local delicacies and even though they might not have a quality label they still taste delicious!
Activities
Too much to mention here. From all of the most beautiful villages in France no less than six are situated in Limousin. Not only villages but also larger towns such as Brives - La Gaillarde and Limoges are nearby. Nature here is beautiful and unspoiled. Eating, drinking, enjoying sports, visiting markets (brocante) and relax in a beautiful luxurious setting: what more could you ask for to have a wonderful holiday?
