The house
Welcome to holiday home Gite Bersac.
If you are looking for a very nice and cosy holiday home with a private pool, WIFI and TV, you have come to the right place!
Suitable for 4 persons + 1 cot.
Holiday home "Gite Bersac" is located in the beautiful hilly landscape of the Haute Vienne (Limousin).
The location of the holiday home is about 8.5 hours from Utrecht, good to do in a day.
Holiday home Gite Bersac looks as follows.
Living room: equipped with sofa bed and two armchairs. TV with all Dutch channels, DVD player, radio with CD player. Free WIFI available.
Wood stove (wood on site) as main heating supplemented by electric heaters.
Kitchen: fridge/freezer, gas cooker, coffee machine, kettle and microwave oven. Plenty of cutlery, pans and crockery available.
Sitting area in the kitchen for up to 5 people.
Scullery: washing machine. Here you will also find the ironing board, baby bath and high chair.
There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Bedroom 1:: double bed with 2 mattresses 200x80 cm.
Bedroom 2: bunk bed with 2 mattresses of 200x90 cm.
Duvets, pillows and cot available (fold-out camping cot).
Please bring your own bed linen and towels.
The garden: through the French doors you enter the garden. The garden has the following: 4 adjustable garden chairs with seat cushions, 4 bucket chairs and a large dining table.
Large clean swimming pool!
Barbecue.
Table tennis table and basketball hoop.
A fantastic garden with lawn and trees for shelter.

Gite Bersac is situated at about 8,5 hours from Utrecht.
Around the gite;
The village Maillofargueix is close to Bersac sur Rivalier (4 km) and Bessines sur Gartempe (6 km).
The bakery for daily fresh bread (except Thursday) is in Bersac.
There are also some other shops, including a butcher and a restaurant where you can eat well for little money (reservations recommended).
In the larger town Bessines you will find the supermarkets Intermarche and Aldi.
Of course also the many small shops and terraces for a cup of delicious coffee.
The even larger supermarkets can be found in the so-called Zones Commerciales.
Just before Limoges, with a.o. a Cora, La Coupole; or just south of Limoges, with a.o. a Carrefour, Boisseuil.

Restaurants, food & wine
Some of the best examples of Limousin cuisine are Beef, lamb "le baronnet", pork "culs noirs", salted meat, potato pâté, cherry pie "clafoutis", chestnuts, red fruits (strawberries from Beaulieu sur Dordogne, raspberries, blueberries), nuts, mushrooms, apples with the AOC Limousin label, aperitif drinks and local wines (Mille et une pierres, straw wine) and of course traditional beer made in Limousin!

The cottage is fully equipped, large garden with private pool, barbecue, swing, tennis table and nice seats with sun loungers.
The area is very suitable for people who like an active holiday.

Wat een rust en ruimte! Wij hebben genoten samen met onze 3 kleine kinderen, hele dagen gezwommen en geschommeld in de grote tuin. Het huis is basic maar prachtig schoon en van alle gemakken, die je op vakantie nodig hebt, voorzien. Hou je van wandelen, de natuur is prachtig! Dit was voor ons een van de grootse verrassingen van dit gebied.

Prettig huis ,alles aanwezig. Fijne tuin en mooi zwembad.Rustig gelegen prachtige omgeving..Goede bedden en voor frisse avonden een fijne houtkachel.wel hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad
