The estate is surrounded by landscaped terraces with breathtaking views. Some terraces are covered and are ideal for ending the afternoon with a local wine to get into holiday mode.

Pellegrue is an excellent base for day trips to Bordeaux, St-Emilion, Arcachon, the castles and gardens in the Dordogne (Biron, Castelnaud,, Marqueyssac), Périgueux and numerous local markets, among others.

Barnhouse is fantastisch. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, een prachtig huis met zalig zwembad, heel stijlvol ingericht en magnifiek gelegen met aan alle kanten zicht op de omringende wijngaarden. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad.

As for the wines , the domain is 30 min away from SAINT EMILION, the centre of wine making and wonderful to go and visit! Furthermore, you can visit and taste lots of domains locally!
Local restaurants can be found all around for little money but also the star restaurants are not far away.
