The house
Spacious, relaxing, wonderful property and exquisite wines. Domaine de Beauregard (area of beautiful outlook) is a vineyard and estate has 136 acres of land and woodlands, which 32 acres are vines. The vines have been planted on the hillsides surrounding the property's private winery.
Within the grounds of our Vineyard is a wonderful self catering gite with everything you need to enjoy your holiday here at the Domaine, and from June 2012 with swimming pool. The Vine House has 2 double bedrooms and a twin room. There is a sofa bed in the lounge providing sleeping for 2 people.
The lounge is bright and airy, french doors lead out to acres of land and spectacular views across the forest and the vineyard.
Dining room seating for 8 people and kitchen equipped with everything you should need to make your stay here stress free. All linen and towels included in price. Come and join us to enjoy our fabulous wines and wonderful domaine.

The Vine House is located 3km outside of Villefranche de Lonchat village. In the village we have 2 restaurants, bakery, epicerie, pharmacy, doctors and dentist.

Dear Robin en Sasha,
We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in the Vine House! Alles was aanwezig en meer zelfs, het welkomstpakket was geweldig lief en zeer welkom na onze late aankomst. Jullie zijn als gastheer en gastvrouw bereikbaar als het nodig was (de tips voor Bordeaux waren super!) en de dieren maakten het extra speciaal. Elke ochtend keken de meiden uit naar de lieve (zeer goed opgevoede!) honden en katten en de omgeving is prachtig. Het zwembad is zeer veelvuldig gebruikt met die hitte en was schoon en veilig. Met weemoed en een doosje heerlijke rose van jullie in de kofferbak reden we na 2 weken weer uitgerust naar huis. Wie weet tot een volgende keer!

Sasha en Robin (en hun lieve brave honden en katten) zijn enorm vriendelijke gastvrije mensen, met een heel fijne gite om de vakantie in door te brengen. We hebben het heerlijk gehad. Een mooie gite met alles erop en eraan, een fijn privé zwembad en een heel mooie omgeving, midden op hun wijndomein. Robin heeft ons een interessante tour gegeven over het domein en veel uitgelegd over het verbouwen van de druiven. En uiteraard hebben we van hun wijn genoten. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen! Morgen weer naar huis, helaas :(

Restaurants, food & wine
The Dordogne is a food lovers paradise. We are prefectly located for a trip to St Emilion and Bergerac where you will find an array of restaurants which will cater to every taste possible. There are many morning markets in the area which allow to taste all the amazing produce this region has to offer.
A night market takes place in the main square of Villefranche de Lonchat every Friday night in July and August. We are also very lucky to have a restaurant within walking distance. Visit Chateau Puygrenier, lunch, evening meal or just tapas and a glass of wine. Highly recommended.
Activities
Wine Tasting on Site and information on all aspects of wine making as we are a working vineyard.
The property is on our 52 hectare estate so you can explore the forest, walk in the vines etc.
Lac du Gurson. 3km away has a man made beach and is wonderful for days out. You can enjoy the beach, the free canoeing or kayaking, childrens playground, and cafes.
Activities: There are so many activities readily available in this area of the Dordogne including, golf, canoeing, Horse-riding, paint-balling, go karting and there is a recently opened wonderful play centre in Bergerac. We will be of course on hand to help you (if needed) if any booking of such activities.
